You're most likely fine. (BP is only one measurement for homeostatis) Lot's of people have BP's like yours.

Mine runs 100 over 50 most the time and has since I was young, I'm 45 now.

The only problem you may experience is orthostatic hypotention (means you get dizzy if your laying down and stand up real fast)

Oh and those automatic cuffs are sometimes great and sometimes suck for accuracy.

There are many factors that effect B/P. Do you work out? Any cardio? I try and work out alot and mine runs low. But when i drink coffee in the morning mine is high for the good part of the day. I am 25, firefighter, Medic. So I am an adreniline junkie. I know at 2am mine will be high when i have to get out of bed for a call. Do you feel like you are going to pass out whne you stand up? do you get headaches alot? let me know and you might need to see a Doc.

That bottom number they like to keep above 60,, but some people just have a lower number. I work in a drs office, and I'd say that is a normal BP.

Maybe stop in at your drs office and have it checked some day see what they come up with!!

Dude..........your vitals are perfectly normal........relax.......you are fine. Actually.......you are very fine, very healthy. Don't let anyone else tell you anything different.......you have too watch out for Hardy 1531...........He takes life way to seriously, and likes too pick up dead bodies. You are totally fine......tell your dentist too kiss your ass. Tell him to match yours. I bet he can't even do it.

Both of my sons have graduated from fire school, and are presently taking the EMT class until August. Then they are enrolling in Paramedic classes. Don't get me wrong, I think it is great that you guys do what you do. I just know the state of my sons minds, and they don't take life near as seriously as Hardy1531 does. I know you only live once, but living it all bowed up is no fun, and will give you ulcers very early in life. You got to take time to smell the roses, in any occupation. Another great saying is, "Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive." So enjoy the life you have, and have fun while you can.

im an emt in the air force and will tell you that your too young to worry about your BP. But 127/62 is NOT normal. Your diastolic which is your second number is to low that is why the nurse was worried. Now this does happen from time to time your BP will get a little out of wack. More than likley you are dehydrated. When we check for dehydration we do something called orthostatic vitals. Which is 3 bp's one lying, sitting, and standing. It might have also been your nerves. Your Systalic which is your top number tends to elevate when you get worried or scared. Like i said you are to young to have bp problems but its not uncommon. Do you have a family history of hypertension? If not it was more than likley a fluke. I would suggest to monitor your bp but dont stess about it, this happens all the time...

You are fine, and I knew that Wr@ngler00 would get you worried. The thing that most of you youngsters don't get, is enough sleep. Balance your life, and you will be fine. I used to faint, when I was your age too. Going to the dentist will also cause unnecessary stress as well. As I said, try to get your rest, sleep, into your program, and you will be fine. Eat plenty of fresh fruit, especially bananas, minerals, and you will live a very balanced and healthy life. Don't worry about the muscles, as much as the cardio.......running, etc........that is the best thing for anyone. Nothing wrong with being tonned, just don't forget the most important muscle you have........your heart.
