Hey Tennesseans???

I have a friend who is going to be in Nashville for a few days at the end of June. She wants to know what to do that isn't too touristy. She is going the the Opry Saturday the 30th for a concert. Anything else for the Friday night, Saturday during the day, and Sunday morning. She is going for work but has some free time. She is interested in history type stuff. She is curious if Dollywood is worth it, Wild Horse Saloon. You get the idea.

Thanks,
Chris

Yea, do Dollywood and then the Smokies. Great scenery in the mountains...and then there is the Smokies minor league baseball..

Wild Horse is cool. Dollywood is fun but kinda far for her just for the day. 3rd and linsely is a great bar/club. One of my co workers owns it. There are a couple of cool lil bars downtown. Nice museum off of Broadway too.

i would definitely stroll down 2nd broadway downtown and at least look at all the bars where all the live music happens. demonbruen st is a good time for night life. ummm....the museum downtown i think is worth it. centennial park is nice-see the parthenon. if she is in to music, i'd suggest the country music hall of fame....definitely hit the bluebird cafe-amazing music history in that place. i'll think of more....it's really early/late for me right now.

and if she'd like, i can suggest some great local places to eat.

i miss nashville.
