I must have missed this. Granted, I have pretty normal sleeping hours. Bed between 10-11 PM and alarm starts going off at 4:45AM. You guys are still up posting. Oh, to be young again...

Supervisor???? Nah. I supervise guys that have less common sense than this bunch. And the bad part is they are older than me. And I'm in a high-tech career field.

How about "Surrogate Adult Figure"? Something along those lines... Or I could hand the reins to willie? He told me he was interested...

Ok, young people,

This thread has topped 3000+ posts. The "Old folks" thread hasn't broken 200. And The college thread stopped at 27. And they were started within 24 hours of each other. What can we do to keep post count up? I'm open for suggestions. Let's kill the other threads.

That is all.

I got it down to 1.2 on channel 1 and 1.3 on channel 40 so it's good enough for me.

What channel do they use in your area? That's the one you want to adjust to. If you can get it to 1 or less, you are set.

I hope by "hummer hunting", you meant the 4 wheel variety.

And I didn't see any grammar in this post. A period or a comma would be nice.

Isn't 1:1 perfect? I'm not sure which one the club uses but 17 and 19 are the universal trucker channels.

Good deal.

But the grammar sh!t is an issue. Unless you plan on taking a job at a fast food place for the rest of your life, you really need to work on this. At Mcd , or whatever, you push buttons, that have pictures.

In the real world, you have to be able to express yourself in coherent sentences.

When you are txting, u cn spl lik u want.

Just saying...

On a true SWR meter (not what the CB has, but an inline meter), you would look for 10 to 1 ratio. 10 being outgoing and 1 being reflected. Anything less than 1 is great.

I would find out what channel is used in your area and fine-tune to it. The lower the SWR, the farther you can talk.

You would be surprised how much a half Watt makes.

I'm going to be getting 33x12.5 Goodyear Duratracs. My old tires are Pro Comp All Terrain 31x10.5r15. I'm not gonna lie, they are pretty worn (maybe like 10% or less tread). I'm not sure if they would pass inspection. But if you really wanted them, do you have any idea how much it would be to ship them?

Think of this as being "work" email. I'm not trying to "bust your balls. I'm just prepping you for the real world.

You guys can fire me whenever.

It might just be better for you to search craigslist for tires in your area. Sometimes you can get them very cheap. I think that would be cheaper than shipping.

Nah, you're good. When I'm not dead tired, I usually try to keep decent grammar on here.
