I don't think I would like a nursing home, but an er? Yeah. I have a buddy who is and it sounds great to me.. That or a cop, both require a four year degree but that nurse makes 15-20k more.

Best advice for all of you seniors, DON'T freak out. Counselors are a different kind of human. They make it seem like there's no time to think about what you really want. I equate them to the preacher who scares members of the congregation into being baptized. That's just me, though. Lol One thing you need to be concerned about, is early submittal of your FAFSA. You'll be thankful for every little bit you can get, believe me. February is the ideal time for that. But again, don't freak out about where to go, what to do. It'll all fit into place at the right time.

I love the lady yelling at her child "stop" crying! Yeah that will work. Pick the damn child up hold her. Nurture her.

X2 on the FAFSA. Also, Pell grants if they are still available.

Well when you're nearing your retirement, the slower pace of a nursing home seems appealing. Lol She's worked in just about every setting, though.

If I use "TIC", do y'all know that it stands for "tongue in cheek"?

There is no emoticon for that.

If this lady treats her kid like this in public I cant imagine how her homelife is. She's crying for her daddy. I'm about ready to walk in and grab this lady by the arm and smack her across the face and ask her if she likes it.
