That is awesome. My buddy just got the lightmyfire one that's two handed and that is a lot of fun. Were gonna use it to light Bunsen burners in chemistry lol. We spent like 2 hours outside just lighting stuff on fire.

I have a light my fire as well. As some other gear from that company. I use it for lighting my camp stove because it is hard to do with the sparkie. (but very possible)

Thanks Cdawg. and good job invert! I never took the ACT my HS doesnt even tell anyone about taking it.... maybe its a PA thing? they assume were all going to state schools. idk

but jack, I was talking about an entrenching tool. What brand are you getting. I am lookin at the larger Gerber model.

As for fire, I have light anywhere matches sealed inside a safety whistle that does include a flint. I also carry several lighters (good because you can break them and put the fuel on something if its damp) but I was checking out the fire steel and magnesium too. looks pretty sweet.

what do you have as an emergency tool? like a multi tool?

Just a GI model. But a gerber is great. Maybe I'll order a One. But a tool like mine is much better weight wise, then carrying a couple lighters and it is a multi tool specifically made as a rescue (emergency tool) I'll snap a picture when I get home.

This isn't for hiking specifically, its for in my jeep. so i have plenty of storage room. I am always well prepared. aka jeep break down/ rescue/ zombie/ natural disastor etc kinda thing.
