you have to put the wrench on the tank side and the socket on the otherside, on the nut. you can run it back on the other way but be careful because the bolt could puncture the gas tank.

I loved the kids, the admin was eh. I was that kid who always got in trouble but the admins and security liked. Except the one time the security guard towed my car and I called him a short fat bald POS in front of the entire admin and they told me I was right later on that day haha.

I'll say it, rocky pics or it didn't happen.

Many people don't like RC because apparently their quality was junk until around 3 years ago it got better. If you want some pics I can get them for you.
Thanks, I'm good on the pics. I just wanted an opinion because I've heard a lot people say it wasn't a good lift. But for for the price...it looks REAL good! Plus I bought my Jeep because it ride rough.

I'll ask an admin or some higher up if we can have a place to play and contain ourselves in a more official manner...

These are the big goals of a high school only type thread:

1. It contains the insanity
2. General relatability
3. We all have the same (or close) budget. Our advice can be given based on decisions made in similar situations. Sure we need advice else where, but it gives us a group that can give that advice. We are surrounded by older people who can give advice as well, but this gives us some specifics.

As you can see the 4.0 (me) triumphs over the 3.8 (some other feller)

My TJ sits a little bit higher than my dads JK, but his has the 32s, unlike that yellow one. It's also about to get 3" or so of lift.

So as for wrenching, it too me 24 hours over the course of two days to install my lift kit... haha. now hat was fun. day one was about 70 degrees got 14 hours of work in. day two was 38 and raining all day long... my garage is full of family junk mostly so... yeah I almost died of hypothermia anyways, as far as lifts go I pretty much get how to do most of it now, so if anyone needs help in the future just let me know.

It took me a week. Because my lug nuts had been super over tightened by whoever put my last set of tires on. So we had to drill one off. It SUCKED. The lift itself took 6-8 hours I think. But the wheels were such a pain... UGH!

That's an excuse to invest in air tools!

I have the top and doors constantly off so I tend to avoid the mud right now. Clean up is way too much work.

Haha that's perfect. I've got a whole lot of respect for the jk crowd but right before I bought my 05 lj in 07 I drove a brand new jk, and I'll tell you, I will never own a jeep with anything but a 4.0 under the hood. Unless it says willys on the grill....

Sweet! And what would you rather beat to $hit on the rocks? A $6000 TJ or $35,000 JK?

I plan on geting a 4 door someday and long arming it and puttin on like 42s and just making it overly modded just to say I did it. Thats my goal for like 20 years from now haha... if we still have gas then. anyways the tires on the yellow one were actually close the size of my 33s, I think they were 285s... pic doesnt show well. and my lift just makes me that much taller.
