Define grinding. Constant? When you push the clutch in? Let the clutch out? Going around corners? Need context...

Shell, not really a joke. Here in FL, we don't have vehicle inspections. So, you see some really "interesting" vehicles on the road. Like, "how in the heck is that legal"? Law Enforcement has the right to pull you over for any infraction, but there are things on the road that would blow your mind.

I should start a new thread. "As seen in Florida". Scary.

I've lived in numerous states that have inspections, but my windshield is sticker free, now

That's what I was thinking, too. But, it was so vague, it was comical.

You should start that thread. Today I saw a guy on a motorcycle with a car tire strapped to the back, but I wasn't quick enough with the camera. I don't know how he didn't lose that thing.

Lucky to be windshield sticker free. I wish I could do without the registration & inspection. They take up a lot of room, and they have to be in that spot. They can either be side by side or one on top of the other. The only sticker I'd keep is my beach permit.

I might. Let me get half a dozen or so, before I start it.

Our permit goes somewhere on the rear. But we can't drive on the 79 miles of beach in my county.

oh yeah, I went to see the new Transformers movie today. Was supposed to go last night, but the line was out the door into the parking lot and Mr. "I don't like to wait in line" decided to go to Sonic instead. I thought it was really good, much better than the second one. I'm going to have to get all three on Blue-Ray now.

I frequent that place. It's too easy, I got one down the street from me. Cherry Limeades are my weakness.

But I always figure it out! Lol The turd with the tire was emailing me, now he won't answer if I can come buy it. Seems like that would be the most important part...

Let me guess. Craigslist? CL only seems to work if you are giving something away. Not when you are trying to purchase. That's what my kids tell me.

It worked for me once. I bought a snare drum, brand new with tags on it and in the box for like 60 dollars. New it costs like 250-300 dollars. I win. Sits on my drum set right now...

x2 almost. About 10% of the time you will find someone who is decently intelligent and competent enough to answer questions and/or set up a time and place to meet.

I'll drop a pic of my set in a minute. I need to replace heads at some point. I'm not in a band right now. I did play for the school Jazz Band and I was our best percussionists (section leader too) last year. I love playing marimbas lol. I gotta eat then I'll take some pictures.

No one shoot me, but I bought my Jeep off of craigslist. Lol However, the guy was ignorant, which is why I'm still correcting his mistakes... But I was emotionally fragile and was desperately seeking another jeep.

So the hubby & I were talking about rims last night after we saw this piece of crap car with high dollar rims on it w/low profile tires. The rims probably cost more than the car itself (that car was a beat to hell, paint missing, Honda Civic--go figure). So he brings up the subject of rims for my Jeep. I mentioned that some people painted their rims. His response was "That's ghetto, we'll just get some new rims" So, I need some suggestions, because these will be the first rims I've replaced and I know nothing about them. They have to fit my current tires, because the hubby won't spring for new ones. Still in the maybe stage, but I want to start looking. Probably going to Discount Tire. They've done the tires for all of our previous vehicles and so far I've been happy. I'm looking for something simple, not over-the-top. Tell me if these would work, if they're ugly, etc.

Rims! Lol. Um I like black with a little chrome on my rims. I'll need to find a pic of my dads. I like his. I painted mine and they came out well so idk what your "hubby" is talking about...

I personally like the second set of rims. The spoked design. I don't like their version of the "soft 8" design... But it could just be that picture.
