Did you break anything today? Or fix something? Cause the boys have been lifting and treading their Jeeps. You might be behind.

That would be awesome, wait...no..don't have a few million dollars...rats. The closest I've come is going to the Houston Space Center. Took the whole tour. Did it with a bunch of my hubby's HS band kids at the time. I've got pictures around here somewhere. Sucks that Houston isn't getting a space shuttle.

Nope. The Shuttle is the most monitored flying machine on Earth.

That decision made no sense to me. Other than it's political..

Less than 30 seconds after clearing the gantry, KSC turns her over to JSC.

Note to self...

Do not let daughters put standard cfl bulbs in antique 3-way incandescent lamps. Smoke will ensue.

Evidently, her light bulb blew out last night. And she grabbed the first bulb she found, screwed it in and popped the circuit breaker. Replaced the outlet, cause that got burnt up. Now I have to convert the lamp. Get rid of the 3-way.

I'm considering attempting to get to know my roommate before college starts. Idk if she knows the room arrangements, so I don't wanna seem like a weirdo if I message her on Facebook. Lol

ahh...I've burnt plenty of things in my time. I guess that's why the hubby gets nervous when I get near his grill. Nearly blew my face off today lighting it.

At least you know who your roommate will be. I met mine the day I moved in. Wow, that was interesting. She was of the Goth persuasion & me a country girl. Let's just say we were polar opposites, but we got along fine. She always had my back. Roomed together for 2 years.

So, if you happen across a good looking, 6' 4", young man, with a tricked-out backpack, with the same name as me, odds are he will keep you entertained if you offer him a ride.

If you have concerns, ask him what his dad's nickname is. He tried to borrow it, and I had to shut him down.

I am so jealous...

If he comes through central PA, there are lots of back roads, and I will be glad to give him a ride. haha.

Well if she checks out my fb profile, I'll seem goth or weird, or both. Lol I like different things, but don't outwardly wear it or seem like it. And she's a DIVA! I don't think she knows I'm her roommate yet. I found out through a little investigative work. Lol

Ha! Ha! My twin sister's roommate WAS a diva! OMG that girl had so many clothes. There were boxes & boxes of them. And, she wanted my sister to help her pick out her clothes everyday and do her hair for her. She tried to get met to trade roommates, I said no way.

Park the Jeep in a pose on the dorm steps. Take a pic and put that on your FB. Then, she'll know what she is dealing with.

Oh, I can't wait. Not! Her hobbies include: shopping and buying. Joy. I'm a jeans and t-shirt girl, I don't think she wears anything but dresses.

I'll have to wait till I get down there to do that. Perhaps I can improvise.

You are screwed. She drives a Miata ( hi, Shell). Hopefully you have adjacent parking spot.

I have no clue, and I'm scared to find out. Lol I'm thinking about just meeting her the day we move in, and letting it be a surprise.

My hubby drives a Miata. Not the manliest of cars. It was his mid-life crisis I guess.

I think a muscle car would seem a bit more appropriate. Lol

I'm guessing VW Bug or MINI Cooper. Those seem to be the girlie cars here at least.

You should meet her, entirely opposite of your normal way. Then mess with her.
