I also want to mention I have dead lifted 295 32 reps in 60 seconds. That is all.

Some day. I've been at the gym almost everyday again. It's going better. Still fighting with a lot of pain. It's really frustrating. And I can't get too beat up because I have to work and everything else.

fun fact: weightlifting makes your punches slower.
another fact: Punching has very little to do with arm muscle, its how you use your whole body in the punch.

Jack could stand a chance.

I have done Mma on the side for a few years, and box fairly regularly just to keep up. And I'm also a sprinter in track and know all about muscle type fibers and different exercises. And power versus strength etc. smart weigh lifters know momentum= less work = more weight per strength. Power is just the rate at which work can be done. Pretty simple. I agree with you 100 percent just saying my punches aren't slow.

I used to do a ton more, I still know most of the stuff. The key to boxing and winning a fight it good takedown defense. You dont need to know the ground and pound.

Yep you gotta fight through the pain. I've restored to taking pain killers before the gym, but no other time. I don't like to rely on pills. Oh and look what Sadie just did to my gym key.
