All the good front bumpers are for JK's...guess that's why I've never gotten around to slapping one on mine.

Well I'm going after a Smittybilt rear tire... the SRC Classic with D-Rings and a swing out tire carrier. the OR Fab one looks good, I think it's a stubby, with a hoop and already has a heavy duty winch mount built on for when I get a winch.

The OR Fab one looks like this:

http://www.orfab.com/details.php?App...OOP&Active=Yes

And on a jeep...

Looks good! And the hoop makes more sense than a stinger for me. I doubt I'll need a stinger on this one.

The ARB front bumpers are alright for the TJ, but nothing like the AEV's for the JK's. The Fab one looks good though. Here's a good ARB.

All the fun is over until August now. I have to wait that long to see Tim McGraw.

Then I'll be seeing Toby Keith September 10th and 17th, Brad Paisley the 27th.

With Eric Church (x3), Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and Jerrod Niemann sprinkled in.

I'm missing Rascal Flatts and Justin Moore in two weeks for the beach, kinda bummed.

Oh for sure, my sound bar sounds like a turd. I just need to upgrade everything from the radio to the speakers, it needs an over haul.

The bar is too... short? Just looks odd. and I think I'll like a stubby lol. But yeah the OR Fab on JK's looks insanely B.A. Also, the pic I posted of the OR Fab, his tires are 33x9.5, which looks odd to me... My tires are a little wider which takes up some of the empty. I think I'm sold on that bumper!

I didn't see that pic of the silver jeep until after I checked back into this thread. It looks kind of....small-ish and open. If you like it, go for it though!

The hoop looks smallish and open or the bumper is too stubby?

Here is the stinger....

What do you think of that as opposed to the other one. 20 dollar price difference, so no big deal there.

I considered getting a stinger, I never knew that's what they're called though. lol But yeah, that looks totally BA...for the 20 dollars more, I'd do it.

Yeah it's not a HUGE MOTHER.... stinger like I thought. It looks good actually, no crazy angle or length. Protects the winch and hey, who doesn't want to protect the winch, radiator, stop possible forward rolls, and stop further side roll if one occurs. Sweet, I'm thinking stinger.

I've seen the huge ones that you speak of. Reminds me of those cattle scoops they used to put on trains in the old west.

The Hi-Lift Jack mounts seem like a plus too. I don't have one but I will eventually. And Apparently OR Fab makes good stuff... I'll probably post a thread up tomorrow asking the general populous on their opinions of the stinger or hoop bumper and my choice of rear bumper and tire carrier...

Apparently they're supposed to have some size to them and be really heavy duty if you're hard core rock crawling, so that they can really stop end over end rolls. But for what I do, the smaller stinger would give a little more protection that just the small hoop.

I had a Hi-Lift Jack mount on mine, but I took it off. The jack's just sitting in the garage now. Some loose piece on the end of it gradually gouged part of my left rear out, just below the soft top. Gotta watch that.

That's no fun. Idk where I'm going to mount mine yet... I've seen some nice spots on the roll cage. Gotta get my Hi-Lift Jack in black as well... color scheme... I might add that on the list since I currently have 200 left over, though I'd like to keep some money for later.

Idk what color my jack used to be, it's all rusted now. A bit of PB blaster could bring it back to life, I suppose. Next on my list is to get my 4x4 driveshaft lengthened. And new dash vents.

That's big stuff. My lift was a 2.5", which gave me closer to 3". Either way I don't have to mess with drive train type stuff yet which is nice on my wallet for now. I'll only go up to 32"s when it's time for new tires too. I love your wrangler though man, it's nice.

Nice. This isn't going to be my hard core end all trail rig. I'll do an LJ in black, silver, or dark blue. I won't be afraid to scratch it up. My orange TJ... I love the color. Can't do it, so 33s will be the biggest I go.

As mean as it looks, I drive mostly in the city. I just like to hear people ask "Why do you drive something like that?" To which I reply "To make people like you ask questions like that."

That was such a great quote, I had to make it my signature. Narcissistic a bit?

Just a little lol. I gave my TJ some angry looking eye lids haha. If you know what I mean. If not, I covered the top portion of the head lights, so they look like slanted eye lids. It's dumb but fun. This bumper will look awesome. I'm not reading the best things on the Smittybilt SRC Classic Rear Bumper w/ Tire Carrier so I'll still look around on that...

I painted mine back to black with some Krylon fusion last summer. It's hold up pretty well. It's kind of faded a tad where things have hit it, but I'll touch it up soon. The eye lids were me just being bored now it's just something funny.

Is that just regular spray paint? I'm loading a previous thread where some guy did his, I think it has steps.

Well, it's made for plastic but it is basically regular spray paint. It's not too hard, you can do it with your flares still on your jeep or you can take them off. I left mine on. Man... Dubstep is interesting...

Looks like this guy left his on, just taped it off. My luck, it would get on my top. :P Dubstep the group?

Haha Dubstep the group... No! And I was able to stick newspaper down in the gap between the body and the flare. Then I put a folded down cardboard box in front of the tire. Taped the newspapers together and to the body so it wouldn't fly around in the wind. Pretty good coverage. Had to tape the body some places where I couldn't get newspaper wedged in though...
