I was gona say don't be complaining about that, I know what you were paying monthly to let it sit there. Does that cover what you owe on it?

Had some real basshole turn his highs on when I clearly had lows on(turned off and flashed to like, confirm.) and he turned his highs back on so I hit him with the high beams and offroad lights and he came to a complete stop till I passed wasn't me though...

I think there stock lights... If not it has an extremely stock looking switch. When I put my winch on I'm planning on buying another set to mount a little bit above the winch though. Not sure what lights, but ill figure it out when I cross that bridge.

So this golden Sahara p**ck thinks he knows jeeps eh?
I've got 6 12" subs in the back of my jeep. Just in there. I didn't port them or put them in a box, it sounds really really tinny and I can't run them and my headlights. So I just run them off a generator from harbor freight. What do you think I should do?

I would say I am just slightly above the average forum member in my jeep knowledge, maybe a bit higher in TJ, and that is only talking WF. JF I am just average, and Pirate well, there is a reason I have about 2 posts a year. I just read a lot, and when I know something or can help I will. What I do understand is physics, math, and critical thinking. I don't have the luxury of being old and having years of experience, but I am decently smart. I'm certainly not the only one however.

well those 12s are really power hungry, I bet that setup would work if you used all 10s.

No but seriously stop lol!

So on a serious topic guys, I am going to start building my 8.8. get the brackets cut off and all the stuff cleaned up, get the internals pretty and all that, maybe get a cover ($$$$) and order all the parts I need to replace like brakes, ujoints, etc. Basically just get it ready to go. Question is, do I go for a cheap bracket kit only. see - mad4wd.com for 200 (plus shipping) or go with the artec kit w/ truss which I can get for just under 300 shipped for this weekend only. It has the truss as well.

I just dropped a ton of cash on Christmas gifts and got all my shopping done, but I have like 275 in the bank, I get paid in 7 days, and I can just ask for some $ for Christmas early or take it out of my savings (which I normally don't do, that is mostly my college money but I put into it as well as from scholarships etc). If I am going to go with the artec I want to order it this weekend and save myself $60

Definitely do the truss for $100 more. Cause you know you will kick yourself if you dont with only $100 difference.
