I'm a sophomore and love my jeep my sister have it to me when I turned sixteen and it was rather beaten up. We just bought a new bestop soft top for it and next is new fender flares because mine are faded grey. What are the best fender flares for a cheap price? I have seen the rugged ridge ones for 160 but didn't know if they were good quality. After that I will have to replace the fog lights but soon it will all be worth it because I'll be driving an awesome car!

Is it a CJ, YJ, TJ, or JK? Got any pics? And I'd try back to black or something similar before I replaced the fenders because they faded some.

Trying to get all the chrome off my jeep... Ditched the grill and now I'm taking off the diamond plate... Do you think I should get black diamond plate instead or something else... Or would I be better off painting the diamond plate instead of replacing it..

It is a 1998 TJ. I have tried mothers back to black, armor all, and even turtle wax trim restorer. nothing works, I think they are to far gone honestly because these fenders are fifteen years old and the jeep stays outside in the sun.

This pic was taken after applying trim restorer but it only lasted two hours or so.

I like the kind of fenders I have but they aren't black so I guess I am wanting factory style fender flares. and the cheapest ones I can get that are good somewhat good quality.

Pretty sure you can find replacement factory ones on quadratec. I'd look into tag even tho they're pocketed. They look cool and are cheap and from what I've heard they're comparable to bushwhackers

Paint them, and if it looks really bad, buy new ones. Since you already planned on buying new ones, spend a couple dollars on paint and give it a try, the worst that happens is you scrap them anyway

Its not my fault jeep didnt put over drive in alex's cj5 along with a 8 gallon tank, top speed 65mph. At least I got to see the rare sight of mud on your tj.

Man that hill was fun

It was one of those days where the mud would turn any tire into slicks

What do y'all think if this? If you look at the bar right below the bumper, it's diagonal/strait to the ground on the driver side. But after the trailer hitch, it is slightly angled up. Is the bar below the bumper a part of the frame, or is it just there to mount the hitch? The bumper also sits a little higher on the passenger side off the frame(?) and I know it's probably hard to see from the pic. There's a little more but I'm going to wait till I can get some pics of it after school. I haven't noticed any fitment issues with the doors, the gaps between are equal on the driver and passenger side.

I wouldn't worry about it dude. Barely noticeable. Might have a tweaked frame.
