Mine stays dirty until I wash it really good. Then it stays clean for about a week before I get tired of being to clean.

I'll wash the mud off within a few days of wheeling but it may take a couple weeks to actually clean it

I want to go with a group tomorrow but I don't know anyone so I can't go alone. So I asked my friend if he wanted to go (he's always begging to take him mudding with me some time) so I asked him and he said he doesn't want to. What the hell?

Aftermath from today's wheeling adventure. Scared the sh!t out of myself a few times, ice and slick mud make a dangerous combination... Only damage was I tweaked my passenger front flare.

Here what I did. I got stuck in some huge ruts made and flooded the night before. That's my friend trying to get me out. Finally about an hour later I found someone with a truck powerful enough to get me. Worse part was now my 4wd transfer case is going out

That blows, last fall before my lift and tires I got stuck in a nasty hole. My buddies almost had to toe me out. I didn't hear the end of it for weeks... They thought it was hilarious mostly bc I had my doors of and covered the inside with mud trying to get out

If your ever stuck try not to rock it back and forward a lot. While yeah, it gets you out of the hole. It's hell on transmissions.

I've always heard that was fine to do. There were some guys rock crawling today and they have been wheeling for years and they did that a couple times to get people unstuck. But idk they might not have know what they were doing lol they were pretty strange.

One guy I tried to get to pull me out came and met me at the car wash afterwards. He started laughing even before he got his truck stopped. Someone from my class had to come get me and I'm sure I won't hear the end of it either. I'm still hearing about getting stuck last July from my friend. And he was there today to when I got stuck.

Haha it's fine to do a couple times. The point is like don't slam it from reverse to forward over and over and over again. I've done it. I did it the other day. It's fine to do as long as you do it slowly and calmly. Completely stop, shift, then go. The problem comes is you get excited, start shifting around before you've fully stopped moving. My friend blew his tranny in a mud pit the other day because it was muddy and he was hung up between two rocks. Now it slips like crazy. It's an auto and revs up way the hell up before it shifts, then slams into gear. It looks and sounds like he's a beginner on a stick shift. But it's just his tranny is shot

That's what I've always been told to do. Some guys came up and offered to help and that's what they tried doing. And standing on the bumper by the tire to make it get traction.

Oh no don't get me wrong, rocking around and getting some momentum is a great way to get unstuck! It's just not all too great for your transmission. I've been on things with 4 wheels and mud since I've been about 2. It will get you out, it just causes wear and tear. You can also crank the wheel left and right and all. Plus dont trust EVERYTHING guys say, some of us don't know all that much but we ALWAYS talk a big game lol

Do you have the 32 RH? our torque converter does marvelous things, and takes up a lot of shock to the trans since it is hydraulic.

I tried turning the wheel to. It was just to slick and steep right in front of my wheel. And I've noticed. Lol

When youre in 4low with a manual you dont even have to use the clutch unless youre completely stopped. And you can actually use the engine to stop you instead of the brakes so you dont slide. I find it more of an advantage. Plus in snow I can start it in 2nd so theres less torque and I dont dig in.

I just pulled a pair of scissors out of my tire...how the hell do scissors end up on the road? I dont have my spare on my Jeep but luckily it was only a quarter of a mile or less from my house so I was able to limp home.
