Currently arguing over whether to put on a new bumper or get truck-lite LEDs

He wants the lights

I want the bumper. I want to get rid of all the plastic, but lets face it, my lights suck

I'm having a similar conflict. A Tuffy security deck cover or soft top instead of a bumper

My 33" trail grapplers were around $350, the 35s gotta be more than that. The guy at discount knocked off almost $200 for me though when I got em

The plastic crap doesn't provide much protection

I already have front and rear bumpers. It's between lights, deck cover and soft top

He's on board with adding stuff to the jeep now. He wants to get rid of all the plastic too, which is good because the bumpers are starting to show wear. He wants me to toughen it up, starting with losing the pink stickers

I love my soft top. Gonna order a window roll soon. Aston's gonna be riding topless this summer, well except for the spider shade.

What?! The pink stickers are you're trademark! You can't get rid of em!

They're so nice but are over $1000 brand new. I haven't been able to find any on Craigslist. Plus I need the lights during hunting season, maybe for my bday

I grown pretty attached to my pink. Soft tops are expensive. I'm glad I don't need to replace mine yet.

I was messing around on car buzz for about the past 30 minutes, only looking at wrangler articles. I couldn't stop laughing at all the wannabes being impressed by the pics (like attached). There's one guy on there explaining what sway bar disconnects are and everything. They couldn't believe a stock vehicle could do this

Tell him to take his favorite window sticker, which I'm sure he has one, off his miata(? if I remember correctly)

Just wait till they see a "slightly" modified wrangler do that, then everyone will be trying to take the keys

Hey now! I paid good money for a few of those stickers so tell mr. Miata to forget that idea!

Well, the only window stickers he has are the inspection & registration stickers...those can't come off. He's not a sticker guy

Yep...
You know I got to drive the Miata by myself last week, as in without supervision without crashing it. I figured out I don't like to drive it. Too hard to find the gears. Plus I had to scoot the seat all the way up to reach the pedals so I looked like a little kid.

I got my axels out today and am going to change out my u joints next time I'm in ag class. I am so proud of my self and thankful my teacher owns a TJ also and knows what he's doing. When we were working in getting the hubs off he was so excited and said "it's great a girl is doing this!" Lol

We have a tech center with auto body, auto tech, carpentry, welding, and health careers classes. Then an ag shop. But it's all about to lose funding soon. To much has happened there this year.. Those are most of the jobs that are around here. It's sad that its all about to stop but this is how you learn for work. I've learned so much in those classes that I never would have in the actual school.
