Thanks alot! and I completely get where you're coming from. Alot of the time it's hit or miss with how they turn out, but one thing I deff don't like is the style of the bumpers and wheel wells and flares I guess is what they're called? The bumpers seem too blocky and don't have much style and the sides seem weak and don't do well when people try to climb up and in the back

You can trim up the flares and make them flat. That always looks good. But might look goofy with stock tires. And I'm pretty sure with the front bumper you can cut it down so it's narrowed into a "stubby" bumper and buy end caps to cover the holes. It's a nice touch till you can shell out the money for some nice bumpers. And something else, don't go the cheap way out with your mods, like lifts and bumpers. Be patient and buy quality gear. Always remember this, "You get what you pay for."

I'm going to put a ZJ tie rod in it instead of replacing. It with another TJ. They're thicker and stronger. Hopefully I can still do stupid stuff and not get as beat up.

You bought a 2013 wrangler by yourself? Have you taken it out to play yet? I've just started taking mine out for real and now I'm looking at another jeep to be a daily driver. I wouldn't take mine out if it was that new though.. Congrats though!

Cant a JK fit 33s stock? Or if you at least trim the flares? If you can squueze some 33s in, you'd be pretty well set. It'd look good and be functional!

Yeah I think the rubicons come with 32 so you should be able to fit 33. If not you can trim an fit for sure. My friend has 35 on stock suspension with flat flares.

There are two threads you need to look at for ideas: "what did you do to your jk today?" I'll find the other one for you. Both are in the JK section of the forum. Nice jeep by the way

You can fit 33s but rubbing will occur on fenders and air dam. Trim both and maybe wheel spacers and you'll be fine

Here's my fiends jk on 35 with stock suspension. I think it looks good but there is no room to flex... Just to give you a judgement on what 33" would be like.

I would never do that. My 35s rub the fenders at full flex and I have 2.5" of lift

He's got a lift in his basement I'm pretty sure unless he sold it. He's just waiting to put it on.

I know thanks alot man! Haha I am blessed to get something this nice, doubt I will ever get rid of it. But I won't be taking it out on the trails anytime soon just because I'd feel bad about ruining a brand new car and don't even have money to fix it right now if I needed to. But here's a better look at the baby

Well sweet then stickem on there! Because as long as you keep them in good shape all decals do it look bad!

Step one: rip out the carpet and never look back. One of the best things I've done since I've been driving mine for 2 years. Its just not worth it. The jeep isn't a luxury vehicle, why pretend? They just trap dirt. Get a good set of floormats (I got the ones from quadratec and I'm satisfied) and it looks fine. I couldn't tell a difference with heat or sound.

Step 2: either get a good set of seat covers (you can get just black or black mixed with the color of your jeep and that always looks snazzy) or get some fabric paint and go to town. I've got the MOLLY gear seat covers is the only reason I don't have color matched seat covers. I think color matched would look a lot better, but its ridiculous how much useful stuff I can put on those seats.

Why 12k? Isn't it a little overkill?

People have asked to buy mine and offered built jeeps for my stock. But I won't do it. I've been through to much with that thing to let it go now. I've been fixing mine since the day I bought it- get used to it!! Lol even going to look at something to be a daily driver had me crying the other day. I have a few people I will let work on it and even fewer I will let drive it. It's my baby and I want to be able to point at it and say "I built that badass." And not "daddy had someone build it for me."

I know what youre saying, my friends (who also have jeeps) always find pics of huge built up ones and ask if I'd trade mine for it and its hard to decide because your jeep is like your child, its a true bond between man and machine. And its the best feeling when someone asks if you bought it with all the mods or had a shop do it and you can look at them and say "hell no, I did it all myself!"

True true. My friends has a 12k winch on his H1 hahaha you should be fine. It didn't stop him from submerging his lifted FJ in water deeper than the hood...

One of my friends who I wheel with and is also my mechanic is trying to get me to let him install a lift on mine. Even little stuff that I do make me feel accomplished and proud of my jeep so I'm not letting him take that away from me. There's only a few people inlet work on it and even fewer who drive it. If I'm going to break shit on it, it's going to be my fault!

In starting to look around for a way to change the sound of my 4 banger.. I realize completely that 4 cylinders will never sound as deep as something with 2 or 4 more cylinders, but anythings better than stock. I've had one friend tell me it sounds like a wind up toy, and another that it sounds like a sewing machine. The sad thing is, I agree with them. Dont get me wrong, I'm happy with the power of my stocker. It has earned the names goat and duck from how good it does off road, put her in 4 low and you'd never know she was a 4 banger. And while my 6 cylinder friends are pulling 10-15 mpg, I'm pullin 18 on a bad day.

Anyway, Im new to exhausts, and read that the things that change the sound the most are the muffler and headers. I'm leaning toward muffler first. I read good things about flowmasters. Anybody running aftermarket in a 4 banger?

I don't have a 4 banger, but V-Force mufflers sound awesome.
