The one for the back looks like it would be perfect for the drive in. I have found the backseat to be extremely comfortable for sleeping though, the wheel well makes for a nice pillow rest and hang your legs off the opposite side and dangle.

I'm the same way, I laid in the back with the top off and let my legs dangle outside, and its actually really comfortable. If I'd had a pillow I couldve moved back a foot and had even more room.

Why can't you have backpacks? That's stupid

Because of the sandy hook shooting... If someone really wanted to cause harm to a school, a dumb backpack rule wouldn't stop them... It just becomes a nuisance to everyone. I mean where does it stop? Can we not bring plastic silverware in our lunch bc it can be used as a "weapon"?

I agree there is only so far you can go before it becomes overwhelming I think it's stupid because like you said if people want to do something they will do it no amount of rules can stop them from doing what they want and I think there is a certain amount of steps that should be taken but your school is really over stepping it

I agree. We can't go to our cars this year to get books or even a bag for an athletic block. A simple rule won't stop someone from carrying a gun in their backpack or going to his/her car and getting a weapon

I know it's awful that, that shooting happened but it wasn't the first time and we can't just be scared of it all the time. I do agree there are certain steps that our school should take to be safer but taking our backpacks won't change anything but make everyone pissed off. Instead of fixing a parking lot that was fine or buying smartboards for every classroom why not buy scanners like in airports... Idk lol

If someone is already going to break the law and shoot and kill someone, a little rule isn't going to stop them. What has this country come to?

If the principle at sandy hook elementary had a gun it's possible that all those kids could still be alive. But all the principle could do was throw herself at the gunmen and she was unfortunately killed.

My mother is an elementary principal and life long educator. She does not know of 1 teacher that would elect to carry, herself included. Just for a little perspective.

And I completely understand why, it can cause a lot more problems then helping. Sadly there isn't really any good solutions.

And that is the truth of it. Didn't mean to interject myself, only to flip the coin, as they say.

Happy Jeepin folks.
Cheers
