Dang, I hate hard decisions. I had about talked myself into just toughing it and spending the extra $265, but I'm starting to really like the no spare look. And if I do get the spare it not just going to sit in the garage I'm going to show off I paid the price.

I bought a RadioShack one and love it. It has a switch for radio and pa system. And its only $50, which is the best part.

I wish I had that kind of money to blow on fenders. My custom hilines should work fine though.

Being young with very little bills and making decent money plus doing a lot of side jobs pays off.

Why would I need weather alerts? Couldn't I just listen to the radio (I don't mean to sound rude)

Craigslist I got a uniden one that usually is 180$ for 80$ plus all the wires, and 50 watt PA speaker

Or get lucky. My dad picked up my cb radio used at a ham show for $5 and got the pa speaker used for free in a electronics trash can at his work. Definitely not the best stuff out there but a steal of a deal.

What's up with cb radios? Is it just fun to talk to other people or what? No sarcasm just pure curiosity.

Many people use them to talk among their group on the trail. Some trails go through areas with no cell service too, so in case of emergency, a cb would be a good thing to have. If you come to a traffic jam on the highway you can listen to the truckers and get an idea of what's ahead and how to get around it. It's also an easy way to have a pa speaker haha. Just a few reasons that popped in my head.

It means you have exceeded your quota, either delete some older pics or become a supporting member. That will give you a larger picture quota.
