I need to re calibrate my speedometer... A few weeks ago I got pulled over doing 10 over when I thought I was only doing 5 over lol but the cop was cool and let me go.

Same. Apparently I was going 20 over but my speedometer didn't say more than 15

Being in high school i don't exactly make a lot of money. Most of you probably are also that way. So I want to get a new lift kit but I can't spend a ton. I've almost made my mind up on the 4.25" Zone Combo Kit and also with it a steering stabilizer and a fromt adjustable track bar from metalcloak. Would anybody have any other suggestions or reviews on how the zone kit is? And also can anybody help me on how to convince my dad to let me install it?!?! Because he keeps thinking it'll get messed up if we do it, and I can't afford paying a shop $85 an hour to install 10 hours worth of a lift!

I don't have the 4.25 I have the 3" lift and love it. The only thing about mine is the front sagged down a little so I need to buy some pucks to put under the springs. And if you do get a lift I suggest buying some pb blaster and spray all the bolts that you will be touching a good 2-3 weeks before installing. It will save you a lot of time and hassle trust me... And maybe find a friend or two that have some experience with installing lift kits that will help.

I to have the 3" kit and I love it... I even installed it myself and it's worth it haha.. It was a lot of hard work blood and sweat and a lot of dip and chew haha but it was worth it an I made memories with the guys who helped me... But you will need to get an alignment afterwards so just be ready to bust out atleast 100 for that haha... Luckily I used a shop while it was closed and did everything for the price of two pizzas haha even got a free alignment man gotta love knowing the right people

I've only been able to use my lift once at the sand dunes and it was great. My friend has a zone lift on his JK and he wheels the piss out of his jeep. And yes I have the shocks. I also suggest swaybar link disconnects. Those will save a lot of time and hassle if you go off-roading.

I have the shocks to I have the nitros... It's best to go ahead and just get them they look better and supposedly there better haha but they make good lifts anyways haha... And I drive mine regularly to my girlfriends house which is an 1 1/2 hours away from my house and it drives great then me and her dad and her aunt all go wheeling while I'm there it's just so great haha... But I love my zone lift it's good sound quality for a great price can't go wrong with zone my friend haha

So you recommend getting the disconnects?...I mean I won't be doing any extreme rock crawling in this Jeep because it's my daily driver, but i will take it on some pretty rough trails and need a little bit of flex.

They could be helpful. I wish I had them bc it's a pain in the a$$ to unbolt them if you want to disconnect. I wish I had them.

Thanks! Sadly the tj is getting wheel bearing and some tires then it probably wont change for a while. I'm supposed to be trading this project (on rollers) for my dirtbike within the next week or 2

I just started the process of trying to convince my dad that a RIPP supercharger would make the jeep better to drive on the highway and that it'll improve MPGs... I hope it works
