I have the money for it from working this summer and weekends now, but he just can't get over the fact that he doesn't think the 3.8L would be able to handle it, and my mom probably would flip out over how much it cost lol. I'm still not giving up hope yet.

Hell Yeah!! Finally some fellow jeepers my age. Not to many people at my school with jeeps but still enough to look badass parking next to each other.

Would anybody have any other suggestions or reviews on how the zone kit is? And also can anybody help me on how to convince my dad to let me install it?!?! Because he keeps thinking it'll get messed up if we do it, and I can't afford paying a shop $85 an hour to install 10 hours worth of a lift!
I have the 4.25 and I love it, I got nitro shocks and I didn't get the steering stabilizer. I don't even have sway bars on the front I installed it myself and it took a weekend, the body lift takes a floor jack with about a foot of wood blocks and basic sockets and takes 5hours. On Saturday I did the front and it took 6 hours because I had to get torx bits, a set that goes up to T55 is all you need, I do recommend a good breaker bar. On sunday I went and got some grade 8 bolts to replace some of the bolt that came with it. The rear took half a day. I do recommend investing in an sye.

Yeah I'm going to get the 4.25" zone combo lift like you with nitro shock upgrade, haven't decided about disconnects or not, but leaning more towards not getting them. Then i'm getting a front adjustable track bar and a zone steering stabilizer.

Why not just get it all in suspension and get new control arms while your at it with the kit?

Well i already have a 3" body lift which looks absolutely horrible and it's horrible for the jeep when wheelin and I want to get rid of it and make more room for larger tires so I'm going with the 4.25" combo kit. Because if Igot a 4" suspension or higher I'd have to do a lot more mods to keep it running good.

Also I don't need anything too extreme because it is still my daily driver. It's a pavement princess during the week, I'll admit it. But it is a weekend warrior no doubt, just some trails, mud holes, rock gardens, nothing that's too extreme though.

Yeah, I am thinking about getting the stabilizer, but I am about to do a ton of work to the heep soon. New axles, rock sliders, and maybe build a custom roll cage

Yeah, so would you agree that the zone 4.25" combo kit, nitro shocks, front adj track bar, and a steering stabilizer will be good? This is my first lift I've ever gotten so I just want to try my best do not mess it up.

I don't even think the adj track bar is worth it, follow the instructions, and get grade 8 bolts, also make sure you measure where to drill the new hole for the track bar. DON'T RUSH! I also had a 3" body and it makes it easy to swap it to a 1.25". If you can't afford to run an sye like me for now. Get 1" metal spacers and New bolts for your skid plate and do a t case drop for the time being. The mml is a pain to do, if you go to a shop, I was quoted at $200. The t case drop cost $15. But if you do get an sye. I know a guy that can make a new drive shaft for under $100 just bring him a front drive shaft from a Cherokee. Balanced and everything. I hope this was helpful.

Hey y'all, so I swerved to miss an accident last night, my tire rubbed on his back quarter panel, there is no damage except for a little tire rub, any ideas on how to get it off?
