This has got to be too good to be true...

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...Index=23&Log=0

I would consider buying this and switch all my mods to the rubi and sell my sport as a stock jeep...

I'm really thinking about swapping a 5 or 6 speed into my jeep in place of the auto. Sure, the auto is better for crawling and such, but for what the jeep is mainly used for, I would prefer a 5 speed I believe

What is your jeep "mainly used for" and which auto do you have. IMO a bad idea but up to you.

I have the 3 speed. Mainly used for daily driving now. But I just got a daily driver, so it will be a weekend warrior. Probably used 99% of the time as a top down doors off cruiser. Take it to the lake. Stuff like that. No real rock crawling, but occasionally cruising some trails and bouncing through some mud.

I personally don't think it would be worth the time or cash to do the swap but that's my opinion. It's your call though either way

I wouldn't do it, there isn't really anything better about a stuck compared to auto.

if you really dont like the three speed (easy to hate) then i would suggest you swap in a 4 speed auto from a cherokee. An auto to manual swap is about 100X more difficult than a manual to auto, seeing as you have to install a new pedal assembly, plumb the lines and wires to the clutch, install a clutch master cylinder, and still install the trans. and no matter what you swap you will need new drive shafts (likely both).

Where did you apply? And which bushings did you go with. I need one. They are pricey though for what they are.

Welcome to the group man.

I applied to grand valley state university, Wayne state university, and Oakland university. They are all located in Michigan. And I got these I should have looked around a little more bc these are the same ones I ordered but I ordered them from quadratec and were more expensive. Idk why they cost so much, they should be like $5 at the most.
