No I can figure out a switch. Honestly when I said that I had forgotten that you'd said you'd wired it into your fogs..

You don't need upper to fix dw
Uppers fix pinion lowers fix where the axle sits.

Track yes but first clean your wheels and tires inside and out
Second
Balance and rotate your tires
If that doesn't fix it get a alignment or do it your self lots of right ups Cmarider or Seadog can help you both know how to do it well.
After the alignment if you go To a shop tell them you want computer sheet. (Will tell ya if you need new lower control arms ( which is unlikely if you've been driving around on them with no problem. Unless you bent them today. )
Check all your bushings track bar tie rod all that good stuff. Hopefully it's as simple as you just knocked a weight of.

Hey guys, so I've been wanting to get a new lift for a while now...I have a 3inch body lift and I do not like it at all, I was planning on getting the 4.25" Zone Combo Kit which comes with the 3" SL and a 1.25" BL and a 1" motor mount lift. I talked to my parents about it last night and they don't like the idea. Any ideas on how to convince them a little?

Combine the lift with wider tires and its more stable. A 3" sl and 1" bl will be more stable and safer than a top heavy 3" bl. *winkwink*

I already have new lowers granted they are not the best as they were purchased when i was very new to Jeeps, but the bushing in them are fine. My tack bar on the other hand is stock with a drop bracket and the axle end bushings are destroyed. The upper arms were my dad's idea and since they will technically be Christmas presents i didn't argue and got good ones. As far as cleaning the wheels out they are fine that was the first thing i checked (it is bump educed not speed). I will get an alignment (Firestone lifetime!!) as soon as the new parts are installed (using the second car for now) plus ill rotate the tires and make sure they are all still balanced properly. Thanks for making sure I didn't spend extra money I didn't need to though!

Now keep in mind this logic could totally backfire and your jeep will end up lower than it is now. but mention that a 3" body lift is probably the least safe thing on the planet, while if you upgrade to the zone lift you will be on taller springs which is more sturdy plus you will be able to include wider tires which will naturally give you more stability. If they don't fall for buying you a new lift though they could realize how unsafe a 3" body lift is and make you take it off (which i would do anyways since I think they don't look very good and are unsafe)

Well if I have a 3" BL and then take it off and put a 3" SL and a 1.25" BL how would it be shorter?...

I mean yeah the BL would be shorter? But 3" SL plus a 1.25" BL would equal 4.25" total, am I right or am I missing something.

You are right, but he is saying that if you use that argument your parents could take the BL off and be shorter than you are now and still not let you have the zone lift.

So Christmas is approaching, and we all have things we want. I'm not spoiled by any means, but the pops is kinda reliving his teenage years through fixing up the jeep, and by god I'll let him. Last year it was bumpers and a new head unit, but what should it be this year? I'm gonna buy my own speakers so not that. I'm thinkin 15x8 level 8 trackers, offset. That way when I get 33s in a while it won't be as much then. Is $100 a wheel good or bad for alloys? Or anybody know any better options? I'm sure I like the black look, but my final choice is subject to change. The trackers are just the sexiest balance of looks vs. price that I've seen. I've kept my eye on the local craigslist but small town = slim pickins.

Tell your dad as long as you aren't being stupid and trying to show off, you shouldn't have a problem haha. I know they aren't really the most stable vehicles out there but wether you have a lift or not you have a chance to flip lol. I don't know what happened to her but there was a girl on this thread with a red stock height TJ that rolled her bc she said she was trying to keep up with guys who had lifts and tires.

I turn 18 in march and he'll sign it over, but with college I won't have any spare $ to put towards it so... I've got a handheld cb and could get a permanent one for cheap, and I've got an ol faithful winch laying around we just took off a tractor, but the bumper I have now doesn't have a spot for one.
