Yea, I'd love to be on a stand today, but it's pouring rain, and next weekend is the week before midterms, so it'll be a while before I get a chance to go.

We haven't had to much luck with dear lately, but we've been seeing a lot of turkeys so I'm maybe I'll a few of those this year. Wish I had a good spot to go duck hunting.

No, but down here we get snow once every 2-4 Years, so it's not really surprising.

Just found a d30 from a TJ with 4.10 gears, for $200. I'm going to try to talk him down some, but that'll make my regear a lot cheaper.

So I have a jeep wrangler and not only that but I have a plow for it as well... I can't use the excuse of snow as a reason for not going somewhere....

We are the only school district open around here. But in their defense the roads are just wet.

Sounds like the perfect vehicle, but where they're so light I can't see jeeps making good snow plows.

I think a TJ weighs like 3600-3800 lbs. your JK prob weighs an extra 200 lbs or so. It's heavy compared to a CJ5, but not compared to most trucks.

JKU's weigh roughly 4600 (stock). They'd be good with a plow at that weight. Bumpers, tires, lift, etc to get the weight to at least 5000. Not too bad

5000? Woa, never would have guessed a moderately modded JKU would weigh that much. Although I guess it kind of makes sense.

Me neither by that's what it said when I looked it up. Heck, just my bumpers alone weigh nearly 200. Add a winch, heavy tires, high lift and it starts to add up quickly
