That's pretty cool of your school to let y'all keep them.

Yeah it was really surprising. Mine was brand new, I was the first and only one to wear it. Pulled the tags off myself.

That's awesome that you got to keep your helmet. At my school, you can only keep a helmet if you bought and you have to buy your jersey

Not necessarily, It's all about throttle control. I know people who run 35s with a locked D35 and do everything without breaking.

I'm leaving it to keep the rain and grime out of the hole until a plug comes in

Between my school cash shortage and small size, we don't even have a football team.

Yea, only we have basket ball, baseball, volleyball, golf, swimming, and I think we have some kind of bass fishing team. Almost joined that one, but I'm not the best fisherman.

I learned that to fix my clutch it's going to cost about 600-700$. My dad and I would do it in the garage but it wouldn't be done till spring if we did that... So either way I'm screwed. Even though I love driving stick I'm thinking about selling it to get an automatic jeep to make wheeling easier and not have to worry about replacing a clutch.

wheeling in an automatic is similar to driving a Cadillac

bummer on the clutch but IMO wheeling with stick is half the fun and half the challenge (depending where and what you're doing)

Trust me I love driving stick on an off road. I feel accomplished when I do everything that my friends can do in their automatic jk rubicons. But I just don't like to spend money lol I guess I have the wrong hobby if I don't like to spend money haha I just think it's time for a change though. I found a pretty clean LJ with Dana 44 rear with a rear locker, axle shafts, regeared, front and rear bumpers, 3.5 rubicon express lift on 35". Full doors and it's an automatic. So I was thinking fix the clutch sell my TJ and buy the LJ.

He's asking 18k so he would prob take 15-16k. Sell my TJ for 13 and get a loan and just pay it off as soon as I can.

Yeah it's been a fun year. Even though we went 4-6, that was with the hardest schedule our school has ever played. The teams that we lost to had a combined record of 54-8. I ended up with 1st team all-conference, Lineman of the Year at my school, and I got to play in the Tennessee East vs. West All-Star game. That was a crazy experience. I've gotten offers from about 5 small schools and 1 big one but I don't wanna play for a small school when my grades and act are good enough to get me a full ride at a big engineering school, and the big one that offered doesn't have anything in the way of engineering. I'd have to transfer somewhere else to finish my major. Don't get me wrong, I love football, but unless University of Tennessee (where I'm going), Tennessee Tech University, or some other D1 school offers me a good amount, im gonna stick with not playing. Cuz engineering is not an easy major, and football takes a LOT of time. My dad played for UT in the late '70s, and ive gotten to hear first-hand all the horror stories of college ball.
