Those corner guards could be there to hide rust. Also to give you something to compare to I bought mine with 149000 miles for 1800. I consider mine a steal though.

I know there's no rust under the guards. The same jeep was at work 3 months ago getting an oil change and the corner guards weren't there. 1800 is definitely a steal

Check the frame really good. They like to rot near the shackles. Take a screwdriver with you and poke around. If there's rust you will find it. The corner and rocker guards might be there to his rust so check from inside the tub.

plans for axles? Gears? I wouldn't run 37s on stock axles. Maybe 8.8 d44 combo

Then after my wallet recuperates for a week or 2 I wanna get 4 KC stone guards and somehow make them stick to those 2 new ones (I'm thinking clear silicone?) and replace the removable ones on my windshield lights. Tie it all together.
Theres some nice cree leds i bought of amazon that bright up the woods pretty well

Well what I like about the ones I posted is the $10 price tag and how the round will tie in with the headlights and the KC day lighters I already have mounted on the windshield brackets.

My 33's look small on my 4 inch suspension lift + 1 inch body lift. If I were you I'd go with 3 or 3.5 inch total lift. The only reason I'm keeping this much is to upgrade to 35" tires soon.

Found out yesterday that the YJ will need a rebuilt engine within the next year. It's something my and I could do ourselves but we don't want to have to deal with it in the first place

Yep. Also frees up the front end, so the tub won't tilt with the axle quite as much.
