So it loses power as in you mash the gas and it remains steady?

Since alot of people have told you fuel pump you can check it but with my motor knowledge a bad fuel pump would bog down upon occasion cause no acceleration make your idle fluctuate and multiple other symptoms your not describing I would start with the ignition system if I was me loose connections corroded connections anything that don't look right then start venturing into other electrically based paths because it defiantly sounds like an electrical problem. You may even check the wires running to your fuel pump and make sure they are intact and not corroded.
