Should I take the front end caps off while in the process?

Wow am I late to the party! I have a 2004 TJ Sport with the 5 speed and (had) 3.73 gears with the Dana 44 and after market Granite Alloy GA9 wheels the PO put on. Since then I have painted the flares, front milk jug delete, 2.5" suspension + 1.25" BL Rough Country lift, sway bar quick disconnects and track bar relocation bracket, 33x12.50x15 Goodyear Duratracs, and most recently swapped my 3.73s to 4.56 because I don't plan on going any larger than 33s.

Before

After

I would take the lenses out, they pop right out of the flare. You just have to twists something on the back and they come off. The milk jugs are paintable too if you want. Makes them look better.

Careful twisting them off. The fasteners are plastic. I broke mine

Only one lense came out. The other is wedged. So, I just taped it. I'm thinking of ripping off the "milk jugs" though.

Lots of people pull there's off. I'm keeping mine on, besides I'm replacing the bumper. I'm thinking I may get a winch instead of a rear bumper and tire carrier... or I'll just save the money. Idk! Lol. The Smittybilt XRCs are cheap and work well apparently, but the Warns are awesome...

IMO without the front ones it gives the Jeep a bit of a meaner look. I think the rear bumper looks silly without them though.

The rear bumper looks too short without the caps. Lol. Man picking out bumpers is a pain. I've seen a few I like but that OR Fab... mmm

Well my front bumper was custom made...at least that's what the previous owner told me. Lol It's a solid steel bumper with nothing fancy on it. I'll post a pic of it. Tell me if the front without jugs would match it.

Yeah get some pics of that. I need to go paint my last rim. The spare needs some love... I'm probably going to spray paint my D-Rings the same color as my rims. Graphite. Sure it'll rub off but no biggie.

Here's the front from earlier, and here's a few of the rear bumper.

Would the front without jugs match it better? Or even make it look more B.A.? We all know that's what we truly want anyway.

I was thinking a M8000. They're not overly expensive and they'll have the power I need.

And I'm going to go take the Jugs off. Just because you have a different rear bumper. I was going to chop my stock bumper down but now I'm just getting a new one! With a stinger

Ive got an x8000i which is a integrated solenoid winch. No longer in production though. I like it better that the m8000 but each to his own

Well it'd be nice if they made it more lol. I've seen people put the Solenoid under the hood to move it out of the way, which is what I'd try to do. I'll also keep my eyes open for a used Warn if I can find one.

I got one of the bolts up quite a bit on one of the jugs, but it seems as if there's a washer in the plastic that's holding it on.

I actually really like that rear. Take the jugs off of the front and see how it looks. If you don't like the look just bolt em back on. I wanna say there is either 3 or 4 bolts holding them on the stock bumper. Not sure about yours though.
