So I am a little late had that football thing. But I am tryin to decide on my next mod...

anyways, where did everyone else put there stickers? I saw me, NC. and saw where shell and invert want theres. and I saw blackhawks.

Also, I live in PA so I am gona say our BBQ is alot different from you guys down south. however my pap is a pig farmer and I garentee you I know how to cook the best tasting pork of any type you can imagine As for BBQ we dont do that very much around here.

If you have access to fresh hog , I'll bring the BBQ sauce. I've got a couple good ones that I save for special occasions. I've got a Jamaican one talk about knock you on your butt.

Looks like a fire hazard to me lol. Why in the world would they make the outside wood!

about 180, and the best slow cooker youll ever see. custom built by my grandfather in true original style, they slow cook for as long as your want from 6 hours to a whole day. the longer the better.

You cook it like a luau. Heat on top. I've never tried that.

no fires in the past 30 years my family has done it my father and i rebuilt the caja 2 years ago and its still kickin butt 30 years in the family

I like it seadog. ours is basically a 50 gallon barrel cut in half on legs with racks and coals on the bottom, kinda more complicated.

Oh and we dont cut or stuff our pigs, just the belly to gut but nothing on top. The slow cook method alots the skin not to break at all.

That's how we do a pig pickin. Skin side down, 13 hours or better at 160. One guy has to stay up all night to tend the fire. lol
