2 types of people live at the beach.

Those who love the lifestyle and make just enough money to keep it going.

And people like me, who tolerate it just to make a decent living.

I would, as long as you are confident driving it. And just for kicks and giggles, take off the doors and top. It will surely freak out the old man that's gonna be riding with you.

I did not. I took my moms commander. Parking sensors, luxury ride, nice for the instructor.

hahaha imagine how mad he would be if I took everything off. I hate driving with two hands, I always have one hand on the stick so maybe driving stick for the test will be a good excuse to drive with one hand. Because I have one friend who failed for doing this haha

Take the jeep if you confident, WITH top and doors ON, plus mirrors are required for the test, at least here.

Take whatever you are most comfortable driving.

My initial test was in a early 70's Datsun pickup, with a stick. He failed me, because I used my mirrors, instead of looking over my shoulder.

The second time, I drove a 72 Suburban with a 454 in it. He passed me, just because I could keep it between the lines. It was a behemoth.
