Question High School Memories

What bands/songs did you listen to while in High School? Want to see what was everyones fav back in the day?

My list is pretty semi current because well we really dident have much choice, bands in 2000 really suck. And you've gotta respect the the Music Gods.

Ozzy
CCR
Black Sabbath
Disturbed
Slipknot
Korn
Kitty
Iron Maiden
Billy Idol
Beastie Boys
Pink Floyd
Element80 (Local band that blew up big)
stained
Nirvana

Think the list goes on but thats the general list. What did everyone else rock out to in High School?

Nirvana was big in my time, as was most grunge. Also, stuff like KoRn too.

Funny, these are 80's groups too. Plus we had AC/DC, The Cars, Van Halen, Rush, Queen, on and on and on. Of course, the girls were all stuck on Rick Springfield.

Wow - time to go think back to that time (and by that - I mean look through the playlist on my iPod).

The Cure
Depeche Mode
Siouxsie and the Banshees
Pixies
Primus
Fugazi
Dead Kennedys
Suicidal Tendencies
Slayer
Metallica
Sepultura
Led Zeppelin
Pink Floyd
Eagles

Those were the ones that I listened to most.

Hard to believe that was almost 15 years ago.

Eric

i'm only 2 yrs out of HS. but i listened (still do) to prett ymuch all country music, new and old. i really dig the classics (hank sr, willie, waylon, chocolate charlie, johnny cash, (you get the idea) plus a little classc / southern rock, such as: skynyrd, floyd, ccr, queen, journey, and a few others. its really hard to name all that i listen to. i pretty much like all music. except like screamin crap and rap (unless i'm bout to have to kick some1's @$$, but even though i listen to rock most often to get pumped up)

Pink Floyd's "The Wall" came out when I was in 10th or 11th grade. I was pretty much obsessed with it.
