Hobbies?

So, what are some of yalls hobbies? I know that all of us here like to go for rides in our Jeeps.

For myself, every chance I get in the summer I am on a little stream or 2 chasing Brook Trout. I loike to do a bit of rock hounding also. Then it would be getting out on the big lake for Salmon and Big Lakers.

I like to target practice and shoot clays when time and funds permit. Ammo is pretty expensive these days. I like to pond fish a little. Adding accessories to the Jeep or FJ of course.

I collect spores, molds, and fungus... (RIP Harold)

We love to camp, not that that is a hobby in itself, but what I do consider a hobby is camp cooking in cast iron dutch ovens. I've made biscuits, layer cakes, pot roasts, baked chicken dishes, etc...

Also enjoy woodworking and have built a sleigh bed and other bedroom furniture, baby cradles, cabinetry, and all sorts of misc stuff.

And we enjoy target shooting and reloading.

Leatherwork. My wife does the carving, I create the patterns, size and fabricate the pieces. This is a set of carboulli (water hardened leather armor) for friend who participates in the SCA.

I like building up AR-15s and any other firearms I can get my hands on. I don't have many nice ranges where I'm at besides the ones on post (which we cadets don't use 10 months out of the year), so shooting isn't much fun for me. Maybe once I pickup a handgun.

While I'm at school, I dink around in CAD a whole lot.

I really enjoy photography, I've got Canon equipment and the landscapes here make it enjoyable. Also, I collect custom knives, I've cut back a bit but still have a great collection.

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student with an automotive focus (which translates into a three course intro: Mechanical Power Plants, Drivelines, and Controls). In the summertime, I do munitions design.

My department uses SolidWorks, and I have Inventor loaded up on my personal computer.

Being born and raised in South Fl., I love everything that has to do with the water- fishing, spearfishing, lobstering, kayaking. Also go mountain biking quite often at the local park's trails.

I recently got into the kayaking scene. I have a bearded dragon which is more a hobby than a pet lol. And i also mess with high voltage - mostly Tesla Coil related.

With a very understanding wife...and no kids, school loans or other major financial barriers...

Anything automotive; I have a 1955 Chevrolet Sedan that I've owned for 33 years and restored/modified in my garage. I bought my wife a 1955 1st Series pickup truck (currently undergoing an S-10 frame swap).

Photography...shoot Nikon D700 w/Mac post processing. Attached a pic showing both the 55 and some of my photography...titled "April In August" - model's name is April and photo shot in August...

Upland game bird hunting pheasant, quail, partridge with great pointers and a beautiful browning superposed. Harvesting deer with a cross bow or rifle. Predator hunting for coyotes here in NC. Trout fishing in the mountains.
