I love these threads. After my year in the desert with 130's mid day and 160 in my gun truck, I don't fuss about it any more. Hottest day on the thermometer was 143 but the worst day was a day when it was 125 and the sea breeze brought the humidity to 90%. I hate the humidity no matter what the temp, but 100-110, phbbbt, t-shirt weather is all. Suck it up guys, Algore says it's just going to get hotter.
According to the information I found the highest temperature ever recorded was 136 degrees in 1922 Al'Aziziyah, Lybia.
But yours was on an army thermometer?

Not too bad here today the Humidity is bearable and only 102 not like last year we had 114+ like 2 weeks staright kills the grapes and evrything too hot for raisens turns them to carmel or somthing like that....Not a farmer just work for a bunch....
I like to stop on lookout pass on my way home from missouls, it's usually in the 40's up there this time of year, nice and refreshing.

Arguing with a truck driver is like wrestling with a pig in mud, eventually you realize the pig enjoys it.
