Thats just such a sweet story. I'm sure all the years of living in sin (not being married by law) has been lifted by their new union.

Just a matter of time until Maryland, Mass., Jersey etc. follow suite. So sad .

I have gay friends, no problem with 'em, but that should be a churches decision, not the govts. I could be wrong, I have only read the bible a few times, but I don't remember anything about man/man, woman/woman marriage.

The problem I have with gay people is the fact that they think that because they're gay, that they are better then you, deserve more than you and can trash the fact that your not gay.

Go ahead and make fun of the fact that I'm into girls, thats fine. At least I'm not the one taking it is the arse every night.

And the lesbians are even worse.

I thought Jersey just passed a new law that recognizes gay marriage.

try reading Romans, and the story of sodom and gamorrha. paraphrase: "a man shall not leave the natural use of a woman, and burn in their lust for eachother"

i'm no biblical scholar, but its in the bible multiple places, i can't stand when people say the bible doesn't talk about homosexuality. this is just two places, there's more.

and ephesians is pretty clear on marriage, a man leaves his mother and father, and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh.

This is an issue that could be argued for a long time. One thing to consider is that marriage is a LEGAL action just as much as a RELIGIOUS action anymore. If you want to get married you have to get a license from the state. Even though the govt. allows this now the church still does not have to recognize it if they choose not to.

If they are happy good for them, even though it is not my way of life. Its not my place to tell them how to be happy or keep them from it, as long as they offer the same to me.
