How about them White Castles

So I was driving home with a few sliders, and wondered what the forum thought about those little tiny hamburgers?

Sorry, but this excludes half the country, not a single white castle on the west coast.

I have two White Castles within 5 miles of my place. They are great but they, how can I put this delicately, will shoot through you like a laser beam... But then again, I'm old and fragile
Definitely a once in a while thing.

They are actually "Slyders" - I don't know why I know that, or why they are called that, but I will still assume it has something to do with their extremely rapid travel through the digestive tract

They’re like any other drug. Ya gotta have them, even though you know they’ll rip you to Hell and back. I was in Chicago over the weekend and had 10 W C burgers, fries and a coke. Can anyone say explosive diarrhea?

None here in the south, but when I travel I look for them. Good stuff. Also like Whataburger, INandOut burger, Wards. They have a place in Phoenix called Chicago Sliders (I think thats the name) tastes like a homemade WC. Good chit.

White Castle is similar to Krystal burgers, but they have mustard on them.

And the WHITE CASTLE version is called "Sliders"
but the KRYSTAL version is "Slyders"

You can probably tell why.

I grew up with them in northern NJ ---- closest thing to them here in GA is Krystal Burgers.
Same nausea the next day but not as yummie on take-off.

I think it's one of those Suthin things. Like grits and soggy french fries.
As a transplant that was born in the North, I prefer the true Murder Burger (White Castle), crispy french fries, barbeque sauce that isn't runny or yellow, ...but I do like the grits. you got me there.

I've never had one since I rarely get back east but I saw how they were made on TV last Sunday night. I LOVE good hamburgers but a White Castle doesn't look like it'd qualify as one of those. Aside from them not lasting long inside you, is their flavor actually any good?

Pure flavor, Jerry; pure. It hits you with the subtlety of Dennis Rodman on crack, Emeril Lagasse cooking in a Speedo... ...BAM.

Yes. Tasty.
Too tasty, in fact...
