How do your kids like riding in your jeep with the top off?

I have a 2 year old son, and have only rode once a short distance with him in it with the top off, he seemed to have liked it, im just curious how other peoples kids react to it? Here is a pic of him just sitting in it,but the top is on in this pic, he loves it!

My daughter turns 2 on the 15th and she loves it. She can see better with no doors. I always take the doors off when the top is down. She can even take a nap with the wind blowing. Here is a picture about three weeks ago when we took the top and doors off after a week of rain.

My 2 year old loves it. If I have the top on she asks "why" and she asks if we can put the little doors on (half doors) haha.

My Middle one (19) has his own YJ. My youngest (17) asks to go for jeep rides a lot in the summer. When it came time to get her a car the wife said no more jeeps, & she didn't want a jeep, so I looked at convertables. She didn't like the way the tops looked so no convertable. I'm still scratching my head...she wants to ride in the jeep topless (the jeep...watch it), but doesn't want a jeep & doesn't want a convertable, and they wonder why we don't understand them.

Funny, I have wanted one since I was 16 when I first started dating my husband, who's first car was a wrangler and I loved it, finally got one now that our son is 2, eight years after my husband had his. Lol I hope he develops the same love we have for them.

The first time my 2 1/2 daughter rode top down in the Jeep was about a week ago when I picked her up from daycare. Once we started moving she yelled from the back "Daddy, I like it!", we took the long way home that day.

I've never tried it. It makes my wife nervous.

Also, my 3 year old daughter has really long hair and it goes crazy when I just roll down all the windows. So I'm guessing in the summer she won't get many Jeep rides. The doors for sure come off 31 May when school ends.

Any one with a jeep is loved. I don't know any one that would not want to ride in my jeep. They are just fun.

My kids love riding around town the the Jeep with no top or doors on... but when we get on the highway they bend down a little bit so the wind isn't as bad...

I think my dog has a love/hate relationship with riding in the Jeep, but then again he's still getting use to it. With his facial expressions you can tell when he's enjoying himself, but on the other hand you can definitely tell when the wind is just too much and it's too cold for him (he rides in the back enclosed in a Safari Straps cargo system).

I don't even know how I'm gonna like riding around in a Jeep without the top off, let alone my nieces (We don't have any children...)!

I can't wait to get my Jeep. I'll be able to report in a few weeks whether or not my nieces like it.

My step kids, 17 and 12 love it. The 17 is always wanting to drive it. Case in point the other day.

Me: How about we take Jess (Jeep) to get some ice cream?

17 year old Step Daughter: How about you give me the keys so I can drive Jess to School on Monday?

I really need to get her a Jeep

Mine are 4 and 6. They cant get enough of riding in the Jeep with top and doors off. When I have the top on my daughter (4) always asks why even if its raining. the second it stops raining she begs to take the top and doors off even if were in the middle of the road lol.

Added one of these to the same spot the standard belt latches bolt through the floor (I got it out of an old car in the junk yard and the buckle quit working, so I don't have it here at the moment)

I'll see if I can find a picture of it

My boys, 15, 14 and 11, like it to a certain point, as far as I can tell. I think they'll love it when the hardtop comes off, but right now it's clunky and not smooth like the Sequoia I had before. I told my 14-y-o that the Jeep for me is like his skateboard is for him. He got it. My 15-y-o hated it until I told him he'd probably drive it when he gets his license, and all of a sudden he loved it. Of course he was mad when I told him I was just kidding... Really, though, I think they'll love it when it's all opened up. Taking the Freedom Panels off is just teasing them.

My Lab, however, won't let me out of his sight if I put my shoes on and go toward my keys. He puts his paws on the center console and sticks his head out of the top.

I don't consider that spoiled. A brand new 2012 JKU, fully loaded, would be spoiled. Good job!

My Logan considers it lucky!
