I have one of those inflatable kayaks and it is very fun. I was looking for something that wasn't too expensive and it fit the bill. I would like to get a "real" one sooner or later.

Used to run whitewater, but it was just a little to hardcore, and I didn't have the time to put into it (too many other hobbies).
Sold all the whitewater boats but still have a few ocean and lake boats

My wife and I have a FOLBOT Greenland a two passenger kayak. We are anticipating using it often this summer. We are a bit rusty tho the last few years I had a job that used up all my weekends and could not go out on the lakes. then my right shoulder had a rotator cuff problem and could not paddle!
My shoulder was repaired last October... and now it seems to be pain free but kinda weak... so we will test the shoulder in a kayak soon!
we enjoy the lakes mostly.. we even use the sail rig with rudder attachment for some really great little rides. we have been in the Mississippi river at Ft Madison Iowa... It was exciting, but prefer a slower pace! LOL
we will also do some camping this summer on a lake here in Kentucky (Green River Lake). I probably will need a small trailer to tow... with my wife and our dog... tent and equipment and two large duffle bags of kayak...
We have a 2 door and the dog would not be able to stretch its legs on a two hour drive if we didn't get a trailer

i canoed every day at camp jeep 07.. stayed in some really cool national park and me and my buddy would go on a trip every morning before camp jeep.. which was only 3 of the 10 days we stayed there.. only time we didnt canoe was when we drove to D.C. which was a whole day kinda thing..

every summer we canoe about 5-6 times if we can get off work.. ive actually been meaning to by myself a kayak but all the money has went into the vehicles so far

I love to canoe, don't fit in kayaks well though.

I used to kayak a lot. Now it's been sitting in the backyard for nearly 2 years.
Ever since I got a boat I have not used it but will again one of these days.
I'd like to get a "sit on top" kayak so I can jump in the water for a swim and get back on with no problem.
