In my opinion, the pics without your jeep in the shot (interior at least, preferably exterior) don't count. Having more than one hummer is a bonus, same as having more than one jeep in the shot! I definitely agree that Humvee are fun to see, but don't count as bagging a hummer! Chrome and other ridiculous accouterments are what get you a real trophy, along with a witty sarcastic statement in regards to its offroad capability.

Recently sweetie? I don't think so. I was being sarcastic, but I've been on here quite awhile.

That's the problem sometimes. Wrong meaning gets read . What was meant as a joke gets taken as an insult. Time to kiss and make up.

Whoa, who is the one that can't take a little ribbing? I didn't think the 80's style crazy symbol was that harsh...

...plus sticks and stones may break my bones, but internet insults never hurt me...

I have no problem with jokes. I have problems when people flip attitude at me.

Lets get back on topic people! We have a serious responsibility here. We must hunt and eradicate the Hummer population before it is an epidemic! Fortunately the mother ship has stopped cranking them out, but we must remain diligent in our noble cause to clean up the streets of unnecessary chrome and squandered 4wd. Jeepers unite!

*steps off soapbox*

Agreed, fellow Washingtonian! I'll be heading out to run some errands today so I'll bring my weapon (camera) with me...there are wet leaves on the streets so I might see one stuck on a hill somewhere.

Good luck in your hunt, be safe out there, I heard they might be in the rut.

Well, I thought I was going to come home empty-handed (for a second I thought I saw one parked in front of a nail salon, but it was just a JK), and then I saw it in all its green glory, hanging around an unmarked building...the vanity plate says "Ol Sarge" and the sticker in the back window is some kind of hand grenade/spider thing. Definitely an alpha male:

I would say it is genetics, but the H1 and especially the military units are freaking awesome. I think the H2 and H3 were the result of a drunken H1 getting picked up at the motor pool by a Pontiac Aztec.... Just a theory.

Nice catches. None were out around me today. Mighta got stuck on the wet leaves from Sandy starting to come through.
