I have been trying to catch this elusive hummer in my neighborhood for a while now. So lame.
Yes, all that junk is on his rack everytime I see it. I mean who really carries a 10 gallon water jug everywhere when they live 2 miles from downtown houston.

Hey everyone filled a couple tags with these things.

Then I got a trophy pic of this thing in its natural habitat.

Bagged a few more today. Need to find an H2 before sundown so I can get the Hummer Hunting grandslam achievement.

Anyway got this one with an assist from another Jeep.

Looks like the H2 parents left this little guy to fend for itself to soon. I didn't know they had electric motors when they where born.

Then I stepped into a whole nest of the originals being transported. Even on the transpo they can get fiesty. I thought I was going to have to use my winshield mounted death rays to put em down.

Had to do a catch and release. Nice guy, ex military humve with a diesel. Had to bow to the more capable vehicle.

Caught one. It was playing possum. I think it was dreaming of being off road because it was smiling. Poor thing. :-D

37x12.50x16.5 is what the military version has on them. So that size tire is nothing special, at least beyond seeing a real hummer in the general public.

I am embarrassed to say that my wife let a trophy caliber h2 get away today. Couldnt load the camera in time. Hummer h2 had to be on at least 26" chrome rims with spinners and chrome everything. Like a fishing story...this is the one that got away. Happy hunting boys

I've been stalking this one for months trying to get a shot and finally took it down today. The use of plasti dip leads me to believe it was trying to disguise itself as a jk.

pickings are getting slim, I'll bet these will be on the extict list soon. According to this article "10 big car brands that bit the dust"

10 big car brands that bit the dust - 2010: Hummer (6) - FORTUNE

lol

"First marketed in 1992 as a civilian version of the military's Humvee, the Hummer fell into GM's hands six years later. It was an ill-timed venture by the General into niche marketing for which it was ill-suited. The H2 and H3 duly appeared on GM truck platforms, but the cartoonish design, limited utility, and clownishness of its owners hindered its growth. Rising gasoline prices drove the final nail into Hummer's thick hide, and GM's government minders had no trouble deciding in 2009 that it would not become one of the post-bankruptcy company's core brands. Attempts to sell Hummer to a Chinese buyer proved unavailing, and its last monster truck was built in 2010."

Florida license plate reads "LOBSTAA" with a Maine bumper sticker. Oh and I live in NY.

Was it full if q-tips? ( white fluffy heads, in a box) they usually migrate north this time of year to their spawning grounds.
