I saw five H3's on my way to work today, one white, one orange (Rust? What the heck do they call that color?) and three black. Of course, they were all driving, so no pictures.

If we do 5 points for all military HMMWVs, does it count if I park my Jeep in the motor pool and take a picture?

I was thinking the same thing.. I'm pretty sure I can get my TJ close enough to my old unit's motor pool to snag some pics.

I can't believe I didn't see any today @ lunch. Don't worry the little bmw knows what's best...she wouldn't even have a one night stand w/ a Hummer.

I may have to go to a used car lot.

one of our local insurance guys drives a yellow H2, of course when he saw me standing on a stool he says "is that an OSHA approved ladder?" Give me a break... if I did'nt think I could stand on a stupid stool to change a lightbulb, I would have walked to other side of the building to get the darn ladder! I just chuckled and tried so hard not to say "is that a trail rated 4x4?" ...bite tongue... Im at work... Urrrrrrggh

I decided to compare the definitions for Jeep Wrangler and Hummer and see which sounds better.
Got these off of merriam-webster.com. I found the definition for Hummer particularly amusing.

jeep
Pronunciation: \jēp\
Function: noun
Date: 1940
: a small general-purpose motor vehicle with 80-inch wheelbase, 1⁄4-ton capacity, and four-wheel drive used by the United States Army in World War II; also : a similar but larger and more powerful United States army vehicle

wran·gler
Pronunciation: \ran-g(ə-)lər\
Function: noun
Date: circa 1510
1 : a bickering disputant
2 [short for horse-wrangler, probably part translation of Mexican Spanish caballerango groom] : a ranch hand who takes care of the saddle horses; broadly : cowboy

hum·mer
Pronunciation: \hə-mər\
Function: noun
Date: 1605
: one that hums
