Don't get too close to the Exploder, may end badly for your jeep.

I'll bet the monthly payment for that Hummer is close to what I pay for my house.

I own both h3 and jk also new to forum first why do jeepers hate hummers?

So I went fishing the other day and found a jeep guy stuck in the water, he was unloading his boat and jeep died. So yes i pulled him out. We both went and fished and told him if it doesn't start later i can drive him back to where ever he needs to go to get a tow truck. No cell coverage. The point of this post, love em or hate the h3, is nice, safe and solid vehicle. but not not for hardcore trails. It is the perfect ride for my two new drivers in the family and keeps them out of my jk usually.

i think the h3 isnt all that bad... (maybe hummer trying to rectify itself in the off highway world?) but the h2 is a joke and that is where the hate spawned, way back in 2002 was it? so the hatred has only been around for 8 or so years... the military hummer wasnt "hated" really before that... but like any bad apple makes the bunch look bad...

Ok, I hate to sound like an @$$ but you fall into the catagory of "Inbetweener" your not really a "Jeep" guy at heart. Now, saying that, before I had my jeep, I have always liked the H1's and the H2's if they were set up right ... but when I see people buying multiple $20,000+ vehicles and complaining about stuff... and then wondering why someone who spends their time and hard earned money working on and making their Jeep nice with limited funds it makes me kinda (sorry, had to use that one for my 6year old) ... If you cant stay within the feeling of the post ... dont post, you just make people like me, like you less ... I might just be in a bad mood, but you caught it.

Yeah, it's like being a Georgia Tech fan who "pulls for Georgia." Or Mets and Yankees, Ohio State and Michigan, Auburn and Alabama...

On the fence or.. lukewarm..

I think its funny when people "pimp" the trail vehicles. You see it much much more with the hummers. And don't worry, we pick on chrome jeeps as well... Its like buying a helicopter for your 1 mile commute, a little over doing it if you ask me.

Might as well drive an RV around with the size of those things. It would'nt be so stupid if they (GM) would drop the name and stop claiming it to be an offroad vehicle. Its a lot like the Geo Trackers, the first thing I noticed when getting in a friends is the warning "this vehicle not for off road use" then what the heck are they marketing it that way for???

Navret...welcome to the forum! Glad to see you got such a warm welcome You will find that there is a lot of good natured ribbing on this site.

Back to Hummer Hunting...as a proud JK Unlimited owner I am surprised that nobody has mistakenly bagged a friendly. What makes me squirm the most is when somebody looks at my jeep and says that it reminds them of a hummer.

I don't hate whitetail deer, pheasant, grouse, chuckar, quail, turkey, coyotes, prairie dogs, woodcock, geese, elk, moose, bear, wild boar, bobcat, neighbors cat or anything else I have ever hunted that I may have missed.
I don't hate Hummers, it's all about the hunt. Hunting a prey that is totally oblivious to the surrounding world.
