I am so over it...

As you can tell by my profile, I live in Central Florida, but closer to the coast,

No matter what is going on in other parts of the world, the only thing we get is the trial of a local Mom accused of killing her young daughter. Can't even get a weather report, unless you hunt for it

Why do you watch mass media anyway? It's all fluff stories and bullshit. If they wanted to be taken seriously, they'd put more pressure on the overwhelming corruption in modern politics.

Think about it. In the 70s, Watergate was a huge scandal that the president had to resign over. Today it'd be a 300 word article on page 6, if it got any coverage at all. Police and politicians break the law routinely these days and play by their own rules. The media just basically says "oopsy poopsie, now ignore the 1500 page, unreadable, illegal health care bill and look at Weiner's Weiner for the next week."

sad thing is everythng you said was true.
one thing i hate is are news is all about whats happening else where in the world. well wtf i wanna know whats happening in america. and another thing that pisses me off (dont get me wrong opera is a good person) but everyone thinks shes super hero for helping kids in africa and crap. but i hate to break it to you all we have more problems in the US that need to be fixed and it should be our priority to fix them first.
we have a crappy economy
we have an ever inclining murder rate
we have an ever inclining illegal aliens coming in.
we have an ever inclining unemployment rate
we have a super obese society
we have a larger high school dropout rate ever year

other things that burst my bubble.
how americans have to stick their head in every thing that doesnt effect us. yes i stand by our military 150% i think what they do is great. but wht the F o we need to intervene with every problem that has nothing to do with us. Yes i understand the afgan war. the iraqy war not our friggin problem. libya were everyone is getting killed not our friggen problem.
kinda like when we had to intervene with vietnam. not our problem and we got are A$$ HANDED TO US.

idk maybe i just needed to vent.

Biggest speculation in this case is who the Daddy is. It's pretty obvious that the Mother had something to do with the death of the child. Whether intentional, or not, is up to the Jury.

It's just on EVERY channel. Kind of like the OJ trial.
