Angry I hope nobody on here knows this dude....

Ok u all....This is NOT pretty but......some genius in a red Jeep decided to go 4-wheeling out by Lake Pleasant here in AZ and not only does he end up in one helluva bind/wreck......the jackass also was on Federal n State land that was very clearly marked 'closed'. Can u say jail???? BLM is not real impressed with this guy esp when he claimed he thought he could JUMP and CLEAR this mineshaft which goes hundreds of ft down.... I Think he is damn lucky and just as stupid..... Let me know what u all think.... Click on the link below and the video will come up. Keep in mind, itz about 120 fn degrees here right now as well.....

nope
all the members on the local site are praying he doesn't have local tags of their club (for good reason)
It seems he was a young guy, fairly new to AZ, just out of BT in the armed forces.

Even though he was trespassing and stupid, he will probably sue because of all of the unmapped mines. Those idiots should have to pay every penny for the rescue, helicopter, and equipment, not to mention the risk of those involved in having to get their butts out of that shaft. (or the other way around )

The video said he was too heavy to transport in the helicopter. Please tell me I heard that wrong.

On another note. That jeep looks exactlly like mine. Mines is a little bit shinier though. Good thing, I am in Philadelphia. I don't want to get banned from the forum for being a dumb @#$%.

He didn't look too big from the video I could be wrong. It all depends on how big the birdy is.Feels like they added that to the story trying to make him look even worse. Why didn't they just add for flare he was slammin down a burger and large fries while he was trying to jump.

mmmhm that does sound kinda good tho..

EDIT: Took another look and slowed it down. He was pretty big...looked like a wrestler!

Yeah, I saw that on the evening news last night.
I was praying they didn't show a WRANGLERFORUM.COM sticker on the side of his Rig.

I was watching when they pulled him out.
The guy was definitely pretty good sized, that part's true.
But I don't believe for a second he was trying to jump that thing.
That's got to be more of the wonderful media peoples BS to try and make the story better.

I dont know bout the "jumping" thing cuz wow, do u have to be a few screws loose for that one!!! He was one BIG fn dude tho, they didn't think they could transport him via airevac......no b.s.!! He IS ok and out of the hospital but if I know AZ, BLM, Fish & Game, Forest Srvc, Federal, & State authorities.....there is no way in HELL (I know cuz I live in it!) that they will even allow him to sue. He better hope n pray that they just write off that he learned a lesson BUT.....talk about a 'stupid motorist law'......the driver should be fined out the -ss for wasting all EMS for that long. How bout the passenger????

Honestly what it looks like to me is that he was either hauling ass and caught the passenger side tires on the lip of that mineshaft and just rolled it or something close to that.....

Yeah, I really don't think the guy saw it coming.
Nor was the passenger of any help.
But like Ron White said, "You can't fix STUPID".

He'll be lucky if his hospital bill is the only bill he ends up with.
I'm glad the guy's okay though.
