Wow, after watching the news tonight, these storms really kicked some butt! The damage is unbelievable. Now the total is up to 25 tornadoes in the state today. I really can't imagine having everything you own wiped out in a matter of seconds. These folks need our prayers and whatever other help we can give them. Imagine your 15 year old daughter killed by a tree falling on her while she slept in her bedroom! It's just beyond belief.

I can't understand anybody that would live out there without building a storm proof home.
We have friends in Dyersburg Tn, The idiots don't even have storm celler. Last year their neighbors house was cleaned right off the foundation and they still haven't taken any steps to protect themselves.

I drove though Greensburg after most(or all, not sure) of the cleanup was done and it was really weird. There were small streets going this way and that and there were driveways but just dirt patches at the end of them. I remember driving though not realizing where I was and thinking what the heck is this place theres no houses or stores or nothing just a bunch of streets and driveways. I saw a sign hanging up thanking America for all the support and I then it hit me. I was awe struck at just how much damage there was and the amount of force it would take to just wipe a town off the map.

Here we go, again...

Already significant damage in Stuttgart, and east of there. We have some trees down north of town here, and even in the center of town. Don't know what kind of winds damaged us here, I was sent to the back hallway of the local Wal-Mart to ride out the storm as the sirens sounded.

I feel so cheap and dirty being at Wal-Mart on a Saturday night.
