I was perplexed today....

.. by the drivers who assumed an officer can magically change the speed limit by just being on the road. 25 in 45 is Mr. Black and White screwing with us all (I'll admit, that part was funny as we followed behind like a funeral procession)

.. by the kid who thinks pressing the crosswalk button frantically will change the lights faster (I'm pretty sure he needed to take a whiz, cuz he was dancing around a bit)

.. by the fact that I'm planning on going to movies for the first time in years because Spider Pig intrigues me (I just need to know why)

.. by the woman who gave me the bird because I had the right of way and took it (it was a pristinely manicured finger with a big ring, she used the hand on the wheel to show me her most offensive finger because her other hand was holding her phone on her ear)

I'm sure there's more, but I think I need a nap.

It's all good. Just remember that everyone else is not as responsible and courteous as you are. Unfortunately.

I figured out a long time ago, if you let stupid people get to you, you join their ranks.

You should see some of the things I've seen from up in the big truck when they don't realize I can see everything

You should have eased over into their lane a little and watched as cornflakes flew about the inside of the vehicle.

I should have, Prove, but with my luck he'd have went apes**t and sideswiped me. Then I'd a had to drive over his little peanut of a car.

Skeet...... Spider Pig rocks, you can't eat him (I'm thinking of repainting me kid's room just so I can put pig prints on the ceiling just to mess with him)

No prove is right on on this account Tiny, you just need to take your Jeep a bit further. After your done you just have to ease over "toward" their lane. When they see this coming their direction they don't sideswipe you, they choke on their spoon and sideswipe the car on the other side of them.

Heck, I pass him and toss him a friendly wave. When I go onto the main road coming off my street its so full of cops. I live half a mile away from the police station so EVERY time I turn onto it there is always 2-3 cops going each way.

Best part is the road is also the main drag strip at night. Right on time at 12 I can hear the racers. Lots of high school students have lost their lives on that road and 80% of the time its the innocent drivers that die. its very sad.

The other night I was in the bimmer coming home from Little Rock, and there was a trooper cruising along in the hammer lane doing about 10 under. As I got up behind him, I went to put on the blinker and hit the stalk, turning on the high beams!
ooooooooooooops!
I passed him and didn't even look over to see his face.

Sorry for the hijack, but this is off topic, I was driving down the interstate one day in my car, and there was a local cop doing about 5 under in the center lane, so noone would pass him, but I did at about 7 over (in ga local guys can't stop you unless you are doing 11+ over) and when I got passed him in the left lane I went to get back over into the center lane, and forgot to use my blinker :chair:, well needless to say he didn't appreciate me passing him, so he pulled me over, lectured me, and gave me a ticket, but no biggie, I know the Sheriff so I got it pulled.
