I'd love to hear that...

I was listening to Clapton play While My Guitar Gently Weeps (see the thread with that title) and got to thinking. What artist would you love to hear cover what song? If thought of cooler ones, but it just popped into me head how cool it would be to hear Eric Clapton do Evil Ways.

I like when Clapton collaborates with other artists. I'd rather hear him & Santana together. I have the CD, Road to Escondido with him and J J Cale. Awesome music.

I've already heard the coolest one I can think of ...Tom Petty in concert performing "I Shot the Sheriff".

Jimmy Buffett does Southern Cross and it puts Crosby, Stills, and Nash to SHAME.

Yeah, I gotta agree with that. Buffett's version is so much better than CSN. A Clapton Santana collaboration would bee pretty awesome. Road to Escondido was one of my favorite Clapton albums (of course they've been collarborating since the beginning of time).
