Okay, I'll play:

1) Repeal NAFTA- this has destroyed our manufacturing base. This is one of the most important reasons this economy will not pick up and run, we make nothing but financial intruments. Paper pusher jobs is all this country creates anymore, and there is always the "would you like fries with that". Yeah, lots of dignity there when you get out of college eh?

2) Sift thru the welfare system, look for waste/fraud, drug test recipients to ensure compliance with their "employer", joe taxpayer since he has to take a piss test to keep his job, sounds only fair for me

3) Stop the innundation of illegal immigration into this country- Americans need jobs, and to those too lazy to pick cucumbers or run the feilds, get off your ass...you are part of the problem with the reason said illegals are coming here, the jobs are available.

4) Let the tax cuts on the rich expire- (revert to the pre Bush tax rates of 39.6% instead of 35%) These are some of the people that are pushing for slave wages (no minimum wage for example) and running companies that create all the pesky financial "vehicles" designed to move money fraudulantly from your pocket to theirs (think AIG with insuring bad debt for example, someone cashed in big and someone lost....think about the losers in this deal).

5) Regulate Wall Street to end speculation! - They are hurting the average American with their greed!

6) Cut all this PC bull crap out- what a sissy nation we have become when it comes to this, we have to bow to everyone to subdue the possibility of hurting someone's feelings. Tough sh!t, sack up and take the ridicule like a man!

------------> Pretty much, work for the common man/woman in this country...the ones that keep this country moving. None of this liberal treehugger democrat/ staunch fuedal republican crap that is spoon fed to us on a daily basis. We need to end the liberal/plutocrat reign on this country. Period.

Signed.....a registered independent

I'd pull out of Iraq & Afghanistan and quit worrying about bringing freedom or western views to sh!tholes that always have been and always will be sh!tholes. We'd save american lives and oogles of money. I think we need to focus on us for a while, defending our borders etc.

totally agree with TxF150's #6, and also with what sonofabeach said.

granted, i don't vote and can never be president (being an auslander to quote Frank Costanza: "Yeah, that's why I could never become president. That's also why, from an early age, I never had any interest in politics. I refuse to vote. THEY DON'T WANT ME, I DON'T WANT THEM."

Amen, brother. We Americans (and humans in general) are a war-like race. It's a fact. There will ALWAYS be war...people try to kid themselves that by pulling out of a war there will be peace, but that just isn't the case. I LOVED being deployed. I LOVED being unleashed in a hostile area and told to secure some insurgent heartbeats. I would go back in a minute, given the chance. Take the fight to the enemy instead of waiting for them to come to us again.

Israel has a good thing going...EVERY single person is required to serve in their military for a short time. Some like it and stay in the military, others get out when their required time expires. I wish America would do the same thing. It would give the naysayers a chance to look through the eyes of a warrior for once and maybe our military would get a little more respect.

There are two types of people in the world...there are leaders and there are followers. America was founded by LEADERS who weren't afraid to take some chances and by LEADERS who were ready to knock the snot out of anyone who opposed our beliefs. That's who we are.

On a federal level I'd disband the Fed and STOP letting them continue to print money by the truck-load (because now they don't even report how much they're printing.

Then, I would go state-by-state starting in California and cut this number of "state agencies" from over 500 down to about 50 or less. (sorry for the long list)

We would be better off to just give California to Japan. Oh I forgot, they already own it!

Wow, I didn't find a California Legislative White Caucus, or a Straight Caucus. I thought we were supposed to beyond all that? I agree, lots of things need to be cut from that list.

It's amazing they can't figure out why the state is broke.

It's troubling that with all the agencies I've listed above, the FIRST THING THEY WANT TO CUT IS FIRE/LEO and SCHOOLS!!! Of course, they do that because the know if they threaten to cut that stuff you'll cave in and let them have their way, but if they threaten to cut funding for, say, the California Task Force on Culturally and Linguistically Competent Physicians and Dentists, you'd tell them to go the **** ahead.

I'd fire the entire government, send out a call for to form a new continental congress, and then resign.

Kick starting America 100 years later because this train jumped the tracks and is running out of control.

I wish Trump would run for the Republican party. That man knows how to make money. Plus he's already in good with China. He's got a lot of important friends over there. Also if it came down to pressing the red button to defend the country I think he's got the balls to do it.

Trump running on a Republican ticket would insure another four years of Number Two and the Nit-Wits. He has no chance of winning.

True also, but compare that with what we've got now...

I'll vote for Paul before I'll vote for Trump. I think. Wait. No. Maybe not.

Heck, I shudder thinking about it.

Doclouie, Green Machine, rudeboy, mrobinson1 : thanks, I know it is a shitty pipe dream, but it doesn't hurt

Sucks that we, as citizens get to choose from a pool of socialists ro Robber Barrons. Gee, how lovely. We need normal mainstreet citizens running for president, someone that has actually worked, served this great nation, and doesn;t mind serving her again in everyone's best interests

I would eliminate the citezan by birth to start. Get term limits in congress, and out law lobbyists. I would also make White collar crime and corruption in government crimes of treason. These crimes effect the entire country. Remember, treason is a capitol offense. Throw all the bastiches out in November and start over. We can do no worse than what we have got now! IMO

Yeah, you got that right. All we have is garbage in there now, all of the plutocrats and liberals.

Speculating what you would do as President doesn't take into account that the President has no power to do what you say you want to do, only Congress does. If Congress did what the President wanted, then why have a Congress in the first place?
Oh, that's right - we are a republic, and are guaranteed representation, which is what Congress is. We shouldn't speculate on what we would do if we were President, we should speculate on what we would do if we were King or Dictator or you get the picture.

Now back to your regularly scheduled pipe dream...

I LOVED being unleashed in a hostile area and told to secure some insurgent heartbeats. I would go back in a minute, given the chance. Take the fight to the enemy instead of waiting for them to come to us again.

There are two types of people in the world...there are leaders and there are followers. America was founded by LEADERS who weren't afraid to take some chances and by LEADERS who were ready to knock the snot out of anyone who opposed our beliefs. That's who we are.
I remember when I was young, in the military, and full of s**t and vinegar. Anybody who LOVES war hasn't seen enough of it, or needs a psych test. Sounds like the same type of rhetoric that Germany saw in the 1930's.

By the way, most of America's founders were isolationists - not the, "think our way, or we'll kick your azz" types. George Washington being remembered for it during his presidency.

America is burning and it's the public who is fiddling.

Yep...I'm a Nazi. Hardly.
If you'll re-read my post, I said I loved being deployed, not that I loved war. And I've seen plenty of it...but I doubt you and I had the same job. I hate to break it to you, but there are plenty of people out there like me who are in their element in wartime. There were plenty of psych tests prior to my attending sniper school, and they deemed me fit, so that theory of yours is out the window. Just because I'm not like you doesn't make me a Nazi or a nutcase...

I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you with tears in my eyes, if you f**k with me, I'll kill you all.....

Those that have never been there, will never truly understand it. Active duty or not.

Keep up the good fight. I respect you for that.
