I'm sick of It

We have some real winners running for president...I don't think I'm going to vote. I keep trying to find a lesser evil to stand behind but I just can't find one I would want to vote for. All of them are equally evil? How much longer can we sit here and let this crap go on?

am I wrong to think that?

I'm not going to even think about it anymore.

Why vote for someone you hate the least? Vote in something you believe in or dont vote at all

By deciding not to vote, means you make the other votes that much more valuable. You are allowing other people to make that choice for you.

If you can't support someone, at least use your vote to block the other guy (pick the lesser of two evils). Either way, the process will continue without your vote and you will be that much more frustrated when the person you dont like wins. At least go out there and contribute to the process and cast your choice.

IMHO...If anything, don't disrespect the people who have died before us to allow us the freedom to vote. Some people in other countries don't share this opportunity. You have a choice, and when you abstain, you are allowing someone else to choose for you...Is that really your choice?

No offense, Lev, but AMEN Brother to what MOz said! They aren't all as truly wicked as a few of them clearly are, although if it comes down to McCain vs either of the Demon-crats, we are in serious trouble! I might actually vote for the Democrat just because it'd be faster to vote them out in 4 years, assuming they are still there, than it would be to get McCain out, not to mention the damage he'd do to the GOP!

He is probably the only one who can beat either of the demon-crats right now, maybe Romney. But despite what he could do to the GOP, think about what Clinton or Obama will do. Higher taxes, higher healthcare(than it already is). If your comfortable giving more and more of your check away, then go for it. We will go from the United States of America to the Socialist States of America. BUT, we all need to vote for whoever we each think will do the least damage I guess, whoever that may be.

This is about the saddest statement I've heard in a long time. Even worse it's true. I dislike every candidate, and am going to have a hard time voting for any, but I will vote. I've voted since I turned 18 because if you don't vote you can't bitch.

And, I'm not running, thank you. Cain, I sent you to bed when I logged off but I see you didn't stay there. Get some sleep and stop volunteering me for crap jobs.

I'm too cold and tired to post coherently right now but I'll get back to this.
Don't give up yet bud, this is when people actually need to start getting involved.

Unfortunately, Johnny Mac will be almost as bad, if not worse than either of the Demon-craps! At least if a Donkey gets elected, we'll have a shot at electing a different republican in 4 years! Twisted and sad logic it might be, but with the mess we are facing, it's the best I've got!

I guess I will give my two cents now. I believe in voting no matter what. I am not a huge fan either of those left running on the GOP trail, but I must research those left and pick one who best represents my beliefs. Nobody on Gods earth can represent me exactly but me, therefore I must find that one person who most closely matches my beliefs. Thats why I am for Mike Huckabee for now. If he drops out or doesnt make it, I can see myself voting for Mitt Romney. When it comes down to it, I believe that no matter who comes out on top, the GOP is in good shape, and let me explain why...

I am neither racist or a woman basher, but I believe that a majority of america, including the Liberals are not completely blind to sex and race. This is why I believe that rthere are many who will not vote for either of the two top Democrats when the final election comes around in Nov. I actually believe somewhere inside of me that the Republicans know this and are helping make sure one of them wins the primaries.

But again i say.. I will vote in Nov... not for the lesser f two evils, but for the one who "most closely matches my beliefs." even if that "close" is still a mile off. Then and only then will I have the right to praise or condemn the person who is in office for the next 4 years.

and now my rant is over.

I'm all for the person who has the best qualifications...Even though I'm a Republican, if I don't like anyone in the ranks, I will vote for the best person I think can do the job...regardless of gender, color, or party.

I will go on record: If Clinton becomes president, I'm moving to Canada or Mexico till it blows over.

btw big dig debt b4 he was elected was in the 5 million $ range i believe, its now in the billions of dollar range and the big dig needs to be redone already b/c of all the short cuts they took
do you really want a president who will take short cuts and stil end up in debt somehow

No Child Left Behind is nothing more than educators not wanting to work. It also propagates the whole "we don't want our kids disappointed" bag of bullshit!

It roughly translates into: We can't and don't wanna teach them, so lets lower the standards!

I think all candidates should have a budget of 1M max, 1$ more and they are disqualified.

Has anyone seen the documentary "Gunner Palace" I saw that last night. Im very PRO iraq war but man, that makes you sad seeing that stuff

It's more like lets broaden the standards so much that we can try to hold schools accountable for impossible tasks when we all know that the unions wont allow for any accountability, positive or negative.

It has helped to bring kids with disabilities more into the mainstream, but it does little or nothing for the vast majority of kids.
