Depends on who's lying !!

Either way-the fathers action was TOO EXTREME--

Legal action's the only way to take care of "THAT" kind of situation-

That father is an idiot. He basically imprisons and tortures the guy and then call the cops. I understand the father being upset, but if you are going to take the law into your own hands then leave the cops out of it. I wonder if the 23 year old would have pressed charges if the father would have just let him go after giving him this "lesson" . . . perhaps out of fear for having charges against him for sending the pic, the 23 year old would have just let it go. Now the father will probably face jail time, lose all his beloved firearms.

I have to agree with you on that one. Either call P.D. and try to have enough evidence against him to have a case or take care of business yourself and hope you don't get caught. You most certainly can't play both sides of the fence unless you are already carrying a badge from a different department. Thats the difference between letter of the law and the spirit of the law.

You would still have to weigh out wether or not you have enough or any kind of evidence against the individual to even start a case. The only thing pops could have done legally would have been to make a police report. Everything else was circumstantial.

They are both morons, the father should be dealt with harshly, and how stupid do you have to be to actually go over there?

I fully understand the father being angry that those types of images
had been sent to his underage daughter.
I would not disagree with a firm to physical confrontation with the guy
in question.

However,
in this case I think that the father is just a sadistic freak.
Stripping the kid down naked, binding him, and shocking him?
To me, that points more toward the father just getting his rocks off in some sick
and twisted way, rather than trying to "protect" his daughter from further exposure to those kinds of pictures.

How much can a guy take?

Ok, the guy really did go "overboard" with his actions (acording to law),but I'll have to agree with a few of you guy's, how much do we have to put up with?
Thre seem to be very few consequences for turds and assholes wether it be your daughters boyfriend or your state congressman....somewhere along the line we all have a breaking point.

What about the daughter?

We seem to be "over-looking" the fact that the daughter was naked! Did she allow the picture to be taken?
