With my local club, there are a few things we do.
-We pay membership fees which the club decides what they are used for...charities, etc.
-Part of the membership fees go towards a membership with cal4wheel for each member, which is an organization in CA that supports and works to keep trails open for us.
-We hold a meeting once a month to discuss trips, trail issues, and anything else necessary.
-A newsletter is sent out monthly to each member outlining past trips and upcoming trips or events.
