Input from fellow gun aficianados and LEO's

So I just get done with my workout last night and im making the dogs dinner, I hear shots( nothing new) its the neighbors again. I go outside and see whats going on. They are around 200 yards to my east shooting skeet in a north westerly fashion. I watch for ten minutes or so just shaking my head. Nonono. Ok so my property runs a full 1/4 mile long north to south with a county road on my east side just ten feet of my property line. Soo i go back inside and the lady and I go out to start watering the garden, i get just out in the yard and hear two more shots, youll never guess what I hear next... Yup all the pellets landing in my back yard right where we were walking to with all our dogs outside also. I was pissed. Get in the Jeep, barrel over to the house, have a few choice words with the fella and two teenage kids. At first he didnt believe me so i told him to hop in the jeep and come sit in my backyard and have the kids shoot. He believed me, apologized and closed up shop. Ten minutes later im in the crapper and i hear my lady talking to someone. Hmmm. I come out, it was the lady who is renting the place. Accusing me of trespassing and saying how its not against the law to shoot. She left her number, i called no answer until this morning. I now have a nasty voice mail on my phone threatening me with a stalking order, and again telling me she is going to keep shooting and i have no idea what im talking about. Last night she wanted my lady to show her the pellets that were landing in the yard, lmao. Dont get me wrong, i love guns and have several. I love shooting. Any tips, pointers. Etc. i dont think I was in the wrong at all.

Obviously you are dealing with an unstable female moron. Too bad the movie "The Purge" isn't real.

If it was happening to me, I would get the police involved, since the lady is crazy.

Go put some targets up on your fence to where if you were shooting at them, they would hit the ladies house. THen from your house, set up your rifle and have it sitting on the ground aimed in the general direction of the targets.
Take a picture of the target and the rifle in correlation to the direction of her house... and send them to her. Caption it "Its not illegal to shoot on my property either... want to dance?".

Woah. Do not contact her. Contact the police.

.....

(3) Unlawful use of a weapon is a Class C felony. [Amended by 1975 c.700 §1; 1985 c.543 §1; 1991 c.797 §1; 2009 c.556 §5]

It was nice of you to ask them to stop. You didn't have to, you could have just called Johnny Law.

I don't know of any State that allows anyone to fire boolits (or anything) onto anothers property without prior consent of that owner, but I can't speak to everywhere. IANAL.
