Interesting Videos and Links

If you're under the age of 50, don't bother watching this, or maybe tell you dad !!

I'm 31 and recognize 2-3 of those actors. As for my Gen... Tombstone was it and won no fancy award, no Oscar... nothing but I love that movie.

My favorite movie was the one with Kurt Russell as Wyatt, although I really like kevin Costner !!

You guys remember the one with Burt Lancaster as Wyatt ??

The best "new" western is Silverado.

Yea IG, I kinda feel the same, I'd met Roy Rodgers and Dale years ago, in SoCal, whata pair-

I met Clint Eastwood on a trip to Montery and asked him if he needed a double for any of his movies (I look a lot like him)--any way he said Thanx, but NOPE !!ah well, he just couldn't stand the competition ()

If you get a chance, visit the Cowboy Movie Museum in Lone Pine CA, then drive the Jeep up to the Alabama Hills where many were filmed. I have an autographed Have Gun Will Travel card among my treasures

That is very cool indeed. It is rather sad to see all those great actors that have come and gone. They just don't make westerns like they used to, and when they do, well they are so so. I am over 50 and I still do not recognize many of those past actors. Thanks for the info.

Not nearly as old as some of those guys, but watching the video made me have to watch "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" again today.... Great movie for a snow day!

I've driven right by that museum. Next time I'll check it out. Alabama hills are cool. When I watch westerns I try to place the filming location.

Another cool place is Pioneertown near Yucca Valley. It was built by Roy Rogers in th 40's. An old western movie set.

I just Watched "One Eyed Jack" for the first time. Marlon Brando and Karl Malden. Highly recommended.

^ Yeah, One Eye Jack was filmed in '61, Malden and Brando were kids. Brando directed it, Malden is the bad guy, that'd all I'll tell ya. Check it out. I got it in one of those cheapo DVD bins. "10 Western Classics" for five bucks, on one DVD. O.K., it was at Walmart, I admit it. But some great movies on that thing
